  1. Syd Barrett was one of the co-founding members of Pink Floyd. He died at home at the age of 60 several days ago. As a part time musician, in my opinion, Syd Barrett opened up the music industry, as the Beatles did also, and influenced and sporned many other fantastic musicians, bands and styles. May he rest in peace.
  2. its good, better than mine...with the exception of Brian Labone's comment that is!
  3. now that makes more sense to me, although she's nothing to write home about...
  4. Let's be honest, Everton has put themselves out on a limb in the past, so another player is not going to make any difference, if he is on a free/cheap transfer. Get his signed in my opinion!
  5. Sounds desperate and dateless....Harry, you don't know what you are getting yourself into. I am talking about his unauthorised absence!
  6. Exactly! As an Evertonian, I think we need to be selective of spreading the rumours we hear...many are started by the RS, Manc's, and other adverse sources...and we all know that vicious rumours can become true!
  7. ha ha ha ha! I use Mapopolis on my o2 mini XDA... its never tried to do that to me! The way I drive, there really is no room for error or mis-calculation either. Hopefully you didn't take the advice!
  8. thebluenose, do you think this is true?

lmao... That is an awesome picture if that is not your house that is! The footprints...the fact that the little'n' still has her dummy in...but the living room has been destroyed by the two little blighters... Laugh or cry, that's life! (incidentally, I do not have children. Yet!)
  10. Quite right Adams For those who have SatNav this could have been a frickin' nightmare.
  11. Sorry Adams! lol I have just managed to get a couple of still images from my webcam...FOR YOU! The front of the EFC Training Shirt... The rear... I will get some batteries and get some better pictures tomorrow evening if necessary... Hope this helps.
  12. Okay, here goes... I bought my Everton 2006-2007 Training Shirt from JJB in St Helen's on Ravenhead Park Retail Estate. It was £24.99. The shirt, as exactly pictured above, has the Chang logo on the rear between the shoulder blades area. I have not got any batteries for my digital camera so I can not post pictures at the moment...sorry
  13. Nice one Zed... Although it does take a while to open the website, even with BB, it is worth a look... Now for me to start an online VOUCHER ENHANCED shopping spree!
  14. Poor Dunny_The_Blue! I have been with my g/f since I was 15, I am now 29, 30 in September, so I am probably not the best person to offer advice... Now I am not going to get deep, however, here come's my advice... I think you both need to sit down and discuss the options and feelings between you...if nothing else, you both will know where you stand. If you don't, you may loose what you have at the moment...if nothing else, you may loose your current reformed friendship! Although it is not easy to take, it takes two to tango, and if something is not right with either of you, its not meant to be. If she did reform the relationship, lying to you, then got it together, you would be gutted if she turned and Now that my Agony Uncle but is over...get out and enjoy!
  15. Any transfer free would be fantastic for our club. Everton were the foundations of Rooney. We brought him through the ranks, brought him up, staged him, then he screwed us over. To make matters worse, he did it on the last day of the transfer market before the season opened, leaving our club high and VERY dry. Without opening old wounds, if Manchester United do sell him on, I hope Ferguson hold's out (as he usually does) for the highest bid possible, flog him on IMO, then both Man U, and more importantly us, get something back from him. We should get something back for our efforts and trust we put in him!
  16. that would be entertaining...but in all fairness...probably not going to happen sadly.
  17. Fortunately, I have escaped the bad dream monster for the best part of my life so far...thankfully. Although, the g/f does have rather nasty ones - which means I get the seven shannons kicked out of me...which is just as bad as a nightmare believe me! Incidentally, I did have a dirty dream about Kirsty Gallagher a while back, does that count? hehe
  18. I would love nothing more for Andy van der Meyde to live up to the expectations of an Everton number 7. For me, that number was owned by Trevor Steven. There is a likeness in appearence, I really hope van der Meyde's play is this year...he has a lot to live up to with the number...I hope he rises to the challenge. Van Der Meyde Trevor Steven
  19. Koldrup...I went to a pre-season fixture at Goodison and saw him. Was completely uninspired and unconvinced with him... Quite right, Koldrup is a disgrace, however, I think Everton were sold a lemon with him...Apparently, Moyes was acting on information given to him by a leading EFC scout...sadly. I think we should research our prospective purchases better than we do....hopefully, did!
  20. I am never too sure about the stories which emerge after a game...especially one of such magnitude, but I guess I kind of respect Materazzi for 'once' being an Everton player... That said, to call his ill mother is very low...and you have to bow down to Zidane. Not for a good headbut to Materazzi's chest, but he brought flare, skill, technique and style to the French game, along with, to a lesser extent, Henry (I have always admired Henry's flare and attitude - even if he sulks every now and then...would love him in a blue Chang shirt at Goodison!, but it will probably never happen, but never say never) Zidane has had more than his fare share of brush in with the football authorities though...he does have a hot temper...which Materazzi must have known about to get him sent off.
  21. Ah, Slaen Bilic...with his squad number of 28...when he actually arrived. The guy who kept us waiting....and waiting, he claimed he needed to honour West Ham, but it was really because he wanted to pick up a several hundred thousand pound bonus at the end of the season. When he then joined Everton, but supended than he did on the pitch...went to the World Cup, play brilliant, returned and flounded at Everon. Marvellous! We seem to have attracted them in the past! Hopefully that's behind us now.
  22. Sorry, Zed, my fault! I have editted my post now to "I know its not the done thing to post immediately after your own post". It originally read, "I know its not the done thing,". I got a little excited and just wanted to post the link of the video, and got carried away. Sorry...shame on me! Anyway, anybody know whether EvertonTV is any good?
