Just been watching Hot Fuzz......my sons just bought it!.........Says"Brillant"on the cover!.....They got that bit right....anyone else seen it?

I was generalising mate and I thought your comment about knowing you was tongue in cheek!! Well you must be in the wrong job mate!.....you got it on the nail!! Just wondered if I'd bumped into you somewhere. As Iggy has said your posts do make a lot of sence!.....trouble is when did talking sence do any good these days? I know nothing of the problems you speak of with the Gladys street stand being invaded by a new type of fan(ones that don't sing and show passion)...isn't that a general problem these days....stadiums being filled with non passionate and wealthy fans. Problem is IF we move to a 55,000 seat stadium....then can we really turn away quiet fans?some of them though quiet may well be happy to come every week to watch their team and we will need them and their wives and daughters(not talking directly of me.....as my wife can make plenty of noise ) I don't think the powers to be are going to talk to the average Evertonian...... ....if they do...I hope it's you!

Why is everyone always so negative about that ffs, we were robbed in a match where our strike force was rendered redundant by cowardly and incorrect refereeing....and that's before you consider the perfectly good disallowed goal...against a team that went on to reach the semi, putting out Manure along the way OH so sadly true!...........To have got through that very hard tie,would then have seen hype kick in and maybe a little run in the compotition.Too many people listened to rs idiots laying into us!....when in fact they wouldn't have beaten them on anything but a very good day.......with Gerrard.

I always seem to get myself into these situations and then struggle to clarify the exact angle i'm commming from No problems mate!.....I can see your angle,and from reading your posts I'm thinking your take on the present situation is pretty much like my own.At the end of the day, local,distant or even very distant we Evertonians all want the same thing. I'm not a great one for change for change sake,and I still think a re-vamped Goodison Park,with it's history and tradition would stand up well against the rest of the prems super domes of concrete and steel,wonderful toilets etc,etc..... Goldfishmemory......people like you are the reason I use this forum!!The chance to speak to REAL Evertonians....or at least listen to them and hear their opinions! You and all the local people that go week in week out make it possible for MY football team to survive.I like it when my sons surrounded by real people,hard people,people who as you say may have not much more than their football team.Their the sort of people I like....not glory hunting tossers like 80% of the people around my way with their red shirts,chelsea and Newcastle shirts! It's worth the travel time and the cost to get amongst the people of Everton!I don't want it to move,in a few years time when I'll probably be able to come more,I want it to be just as it is now!......But like MAC(think it was him)said we can't freeze it in time and keep it as it is.......soul seling clubs have seen to that! If the Evertonians that you speak of are as you describe them that passion wont be allowed to die where ever we go.......YOU CAN TAKE THE CLUB OUT OF EVERTON!.............. ...............BUT YOU'LL NEVER TAKE EVERTON OUT OF THE CLUB! MMmm....Congratulatios,Goldfishmemory.....I can certainly see where that MEMORY bit comes in,or you've done your homework! the bloke who travels from the outskirts or further with his son and sometimes his wife & daughter!!!Yep that's me! Would come every week if I could afford it......just my friggin luck to be born in Norfolk! Of course the backbone of the club is the season ticket holder,the away fans(of which ours are probably the best)...and the people who turn up after 3 or 4 defeats in a row! Bill Kenwright's love affair with EVERTON wont stop when he sells.....the mans like the rest of us,couldn't stop if he tried!In fact it's probably more ingrained in him than any or most of us!Can't see him shafting Everton for his own gain,the man makes enough money without us...........were lucky to be owned by a man,who like us is an EVERTONIAN! Rather Bill Kenwright than two old American baseball loving fame seeking twats who havn't got as much money as they would like you to think!Or a Russian Gangster who wanted to live in England and be famous. EVERTON 3 luckypool 0........luckypool 0 EVERTON 0 EVERTON 2 Chelsea 3(couple of lucky shots).....Chelsea 1 EVERTON 1 It's not just about money......Check out the above results. We came 6th!.......With a team that had problems in defence all season!Players playing out of position etc.....Cahill sat out half the season...Andy Johnson was our only forward who really fired on all cylinders(though Vaughan and Anichebe did us proud).....My point is with a bit more luck last season....what could we have achieved? Might not qualify for the champions league next season.....but then again nor will Aston Villa.........Birmingham........Newcastle......Middlesborough and numerous other clubs who have sold their souls!

Yep sure seems West Ham is the place to be!!Seems they really think just throwing money around is the way forward...all the more reason to kick their arses when they come to Goodison. Every time a bought out rich team comes to Goodison this season Moyes should replace the toilet paper in the away team dressing room with £50 notes!!....just to show the greedy tossers what they can do with their big bucks. Don't care how much their center half costs.....Vaughan will leave him for dead,before he nut-megs thier multi-million pound goalkeeper. Thing is with all this money they seem to have(West Ham that is)....just a shame thier fine was so small.Perhaps they should give Sheff Utd £10million for cheating them.

Bugger, I was looking forward to that, went the pics to see 1 & 2 Trouble is they seem to be running out of ideas for the plots within the Pirate "thing". Great special effects,as was films 1 and 2......but I felt like I'd seen it all before.Couple of good battles at sea(as you would expect with Pirates ) Don't not go to the Cinema because of my opinion!!It's not a rubbish film. If you do go....and you can tell me just who was the Captain of the"Black Pearl" after the first hour or so....then your a better man than me! And look out for "Pirates of the Caribbean 4"........Coming to a Cinema near you next year!! Give it a go Zed....No 3 I mean,we all like different things.

I dont know how to feel about it, ive started smoking a little bit recently but its good for those who dont smoke! Everton Lad!..........We've all got to die of something!.......Believe me Lung Cancer is one of the ways you don't go!! Both of my parents died of it,and it's not something that comes when your 70+, My mum was 52......Doctors said almost 100% certain it was the smoking,same with my Dad......doesn't just sit in your lungs and give you a nasty cough!!.....it starts there and then wanders around.....Mum's bone and Dad's brain....WHY the horror story Everton Lad?........Guess your quite young/your a BLUE.....Wouldn't want it to happen to you. Don't know if the cinema counts as in what your watching?....but maybe I can save you some money! Took my daughter to watch"Pirates of the Caribbean:At worlds end"...Which is really like "Pirates of the Caribbean 3!".....Now No's 1 and 2 weren't too bad,but three is nearly 3 Hours of nothing new!!......Daughter agreed!

I would think if Moyes doesn't recieve any decent offers for Beattie or VDM,then yes they have a future here.We need players so he's hardly going to give them away. Beatties a half decent player who needs a change of luck.If he came good next season with AJ and the two lads(Vaughan and Anichebe)that could be the attacking options covered......spend the money elsewhere. Andrew Johnson,Beattie,Vaughan and Anichebe....if they played to full potential,who needs Nugent?.....But Beatties luck needs to change and quick! VDM!..........What can you say that hasn't been said?Could play a bit part next season, we need a big squad.Could win a game with a flash of brilliance.....but probably wont!!!

What would I like to see in five years time! To start with I wont be heartbroken if were still at Goodison...though the right move whatever that is would be ok! I'd like to see Kenwright and Moyes still in control....not owned by a Russian,American or such like!and to see the teams that were bought falling away awash with debt. We would be in contention for the champions league,and never out of europe.We will be one of the very few clubs still bringing local young players into the first team. We will be unique in being a club that retained it's soul,good honest players will want to play for Everton. Steven Gerrard who still(in five years time) will not have won a championship medal will declear that he wants to end his career at such a club(his boyhood team)........ .............EVERTON will tell him to fuc% off!! We may not win many trophies(couple would be nice)....But that wont matter to me!...........They haven't won many lately,and I'm still here.

Check out(if you can bring yourself to do so)....a random rs forum!!quite a few of the rs are worried about their new american owners!!Sure they are going to get their nice superdome,that on bad days may be 2/3 full...and they might get the odd big name......overpriced and probably past his best,and that's about it! Thay are pulling their hair out over Rafa maybe walking out!! The same Yanks that tried to buy Aston Villa with their borrowed money....and who said Baseball was really more their game!! I'm 100% behind Kenwright and Moyes....should have been 5th this last season! WAS 4th the other season.....finishing above teams that have either sold out or have plenty of money!! I couldn't believe how we gifted Wigan a draw at Goodison.It was probably that match and the Man City one that lost us 5th place and were hardest to accept! A fully fit and hungry And Johnson will Give the mighty Titus Bramble a Wigan début that,he will surely never recover from! Also when the man that is Joleon Lescott ambles forward for the first Blue corner of the season......watch the colossus that is Bramble!...on his arse in the back of the net wondering what hit him!.....with the ball as his only companion. Expecting Lescott and Yobo to give defenders major problems at corners this season! And while everyone's watching those two......little Timmy Cahill's going to pop up with that kangaroo leap and stick quite a few in!! YEH!.......you see kick off's a couple of months off......but in my mind it's already started! Lets just hope the lads hit the ground running....it's these games(at Goodison) that you really have to get the three points......sure that's pressure!Wigan will see a point again as a bloody good result!

The question was is Londons future Islamic? Well after watching the news today!....maybe a better question would be "is Isreals future Islamic"!! My thoughts on Religion!........I watched the film today by Al Gore(ex American vice president)....the name of which I have forgotten The one about Global warming!90 mins of hard hitting facts and photo's.I have to admit it really hit home about the problems were facing.Most if not all of them man made. SO!....If there is a God of any faith.......and he or she created this beautiful planet! I'm pretty sure they would have kicked our pathetic species of this said planet!! We laughed in History lessons at the ancient world for worshipping the moon,the sun and trees!!!!............now half the world is killing the other half because of two books! Maybe those people who worshiped the the sun,the moon,trees and the seas weren't so stupid after all!

Always nice to predict good starts to a season......But here's a couple of examples as to why the first couple of games,aren't typical of the season ahead!! 1993-94....won first three games 2-0,1-0,4-2.....top of the table after those three games!!.....last game of the season..Everton 3 Wimbledon 2..Survived!! 1984-85....lost the first two games 1-4,1-2....won the championship 6 games before the end of the season!!! So yes lets beat Wigan(and we should really)....but if we don't!Please no calling for moyes head. Can remember Brian Clough saying the first game of the season....pressure is always on the home team!!.......what do you think?

surely!....This is just the type of thing all the"Why can't someone buy Everton" people should read! BK has said he will sell when the right offer comes along.Well all I can say is Bill you just take your bloody time...........This is Everton Football Club,and not a plaything for some rich tosser to come to and Fuc% us up!! Man Utd set the standards....Chelsea have come along as the first real rich club who can buy anyone(except Gerrard)......they've made the most of it and won some trophies. Now loads of teams are selling out in panic!.....yer sure they will get a couple of good players, and maybe even a new stadium.....but most of them will still finish below Everton next season. Five years down the line a lot of those clubs are going to be in trouble if they haven't bought success.....and they can't all buy it!

There have been people who claimed THEIR dogs wouldn't hurt a fly!....only for that dog to go on and maul a child....sometimes seriously! This owner is happily claiming"his dog has been traumtized!...and gets aggressive!with people".......shall we take a chance on that one? A workmate a couple of years back at a Leeds match....little bit of shoving and pushing managed to drop his programe!reached down to pick it up,and his forearm was grabbed by a police dog......policeman told him to releace,which for a split second he did only to get a second much better grip.Result plenty of soft tissue damage,nerve damage etc! Still going through the courts!(police wouldn't even call an ambulance for him). That's an aggressive dog(police dog)not in control! If this man has trained his dog....to be aggressive towards Black,white or green people.. ..then no you can't blame the dog.But THAT dog is dangerous.....so is the owner! OK!Don't put him down.......just hope he doesn't get out,and come across a black child!
