But surely if you are admitting that they are facts , even if they arent the complete story, then there is enough substance to suggest that moyes was doing something right? I get the fact that Martinez has taken the shackles off, and we are now playing better football I get the fact that people are upset about his antics in the summer I get the fact that we had gone stale under Moyes and a parting of the ways was in the best interests of everyone What I dont get is how or why people want to rewrite history and make out he was a bad manager and above all else I really cant fathom how anybody can say that our defensive resolve this season has got nothing to do with Moyes when every single defender that has been used this season, incuding the keeper, were signed by him Haf would have you beleive that BK is the worst chairman in the game, that Moyes is a money grabbing second rate Sunday league manager and that Elstone and the Board are all clowns. If thats the case how have we managed to evolve from the shambles of a club we were under Johnson and Smith into the team we are today? Somebody somewhere must have been doing something right and if its not down to the Chairman, the manager or the Board then who the fuck is it down to?

That really is an irratating comment The journalist has quoted a string of facts to back up his comments and yet because his opinion is different than yours he is an "apologist" ????

I have never once said that Martinez hasnt improved things so I fail to see the relevence of it.. In fact it goes along with exactly what I have been saying I agreed with a point a journalist made that we are seeing the best of both worlds ie Moyes defensive stability and organisation and Robertos flair and playing without fear so this only goes to further back up my point. All the Moyes bashers refuse to beleive that Moyes built the foundations of this side even though the players , the staff and even Roberto himself have come out in public and said just that. Its blatantly obvious that Roberto has them playing without fear, and Im loving any minute of it , but that has never been in question .

I think you have completely missed the point, this isnt about who is the better manager between Martinez or Moyes Not one single person is having a pop at Martinez and in fact everyone is in agreement that we are better off with Roberto so what exactly are you defending Martinez against? As for the truth hurts if you could show me one single instance of this so called truth then please feel free to do so Actually dont bother as Im bored of this argument now I would rather concentrate on the fact we have a good manager and are in the top 4. I dont have a love in with Moyes at all , I have said many a time in here that I would rather not be discussing him as he isnt our manager anymore. The reason I spend so much effort defending him is because others spend so much effort trying to wipe out everything he did for the club in the past 10 years The entire point of a forum is to air your views and debate footaball matters and just because I dont want to jump on the band wagon and bash Moyes makes you sick? Jags and Distin are obvioulsy Robertos first choice pairing and we have Stones and Alcaraz as back up with the option to recall Duffy if things went really bad with injuries in that department A CF has got to be the top priority if only to keep Lukaku on his toes, and maybe another winger

Just seems a bit of a dilema for you thats all, because one of two things is happening here, either 1) BK is nowhere near as bad as you make him out to be or 2) Martinez is being two faced and also has no integrityr and will say anything to please the boss Personally I think Roberto is a good guy who knows what he is talking about
