  1. Why not Baines? Who is a better LB than him in the Premier League?
  2. I would say it is a priority seeing a though Gibson is likely to miss the rest of the season. A bad injury to either Barry or McCargt would leave us very exposed
  3. Could we pay a plastic surgeon a couple of million to make Naismith look like Ross then sell him to United?
  4. No they havent been missed, but thats because we now have a decent squad and so have had capable replacements who were able to slot straight in. Thats not luck that is good management However my point is that we have had more than our fair share of injuries already this season and so I dont think its fair to say weve been lucky with injuries
  5. We already had Barry and Lukaku when Kone and Gibson got injured Also we have been missing Delefeou, Baines and Jags for chunks of the season
  6. To be fair to Robles I sit right behind the Gwladys Street goal and the ball looked like it swerved right in front of him, would have to see it again on the box but at the time I did have a bit of sympathy for him

  8. Maybe he will take Messi's place in the side, who in turn wont want to sit on the bench and so would fancy a season long loan at Everton

  11. And when I quoted Sylvan Distin saying that Moyes had built the foundations of this side and Roberto had come in and done some fine tuning.... Thank God for that , its all been a bad dream,!
  12. I thought second half that was actually one of our best performances for a few games now, it just wasnt our day I suppose the way we play it out from the back like we do we should expect the occasional cock up like that from time to time but what was going through Howards head when he gave that suicidal ball to Osman ? Obviously Osman was equally culpable but it was just real comedy defending Even though it happened right in front of me Im still not sure wether or not it was actually a penalty , what was the general consensus from you guys watching it on the box/streams?
  13. I thought it was Lukaku's best game in a while and also though Oviedo was in with a shout but I think Coleman shaded it just ahead of him
  14. Thanks Pete , such utter bollocks like this has reminded me of why I cant be arsed with this argument anymore. For the record I said in the original post that I couldnt stand the reporter but just thought in this case he had a point and I dont even read the Daily Mail as a rule so I hardly "cling to every word as if its a bible"
  15. Thats exactly what people are saying. This all started over a journalist saying we currently have the best of both worlds in Moyes' defensive organistaion and Robertos flair and playing without fear and people in here got all up in arms saying Moyes deserves no credit for it at all

  19. And so the point remains, even if you beleive that they arent the full story surely there is enough there to prove he did a good job at Everton? Im saying no more on the subject now anyway. The "appologists" can continue to rate Moyes and apologise for the fact were not fighting relegation and the haters can continue to rewrite the history books and claim that Moyes has had no influence on the current squad even though the players say differently
  20. Yeah me too, I had a couple of my Navy mates whe were Mackems come down to stay at mine and watch the game so it was even more enjoyable for me!

  22. So because someone has a different opinion from yours they are naive or idiots? Dont suppose you would care to state which of the facts in that article you beleive to be false because as I said if they are true then he must have been doing something right?
