  3. Not the first member of the tree family to play for us either, a relative came through the ranks here and played up front for us in the late 90’s TBF he was pretty shit though
  4. Might not have any new January signings but we do have new trees! #likeanewsigning
  5. Gone to link up with Big Dunc at Inverness Caledonian Thistle on loan for the rest of the season https://ictfc.com/sean-mcallister-signs-for-ictfc-on-loan/
  6. Not even remotely interested in TDD today and won’t feel disappointed or fuming at the lack of action thanks to Thelwell setting expectation before the window opened, amazing what a bit of communication can do isn’t it?
  7. Only if they are doing the Hokey Cokey at Finch Farm
  8. Thought he was our best player last night and seems to have rediscovered his pace https://theathletic.com/5239784/2024/01/31/ben-godfrey-everton-fulham/?source=user_shared_article

  10. The rules state accidental is still a penalty i.e. the Keane and Onana penalties that went against us this season
  11. This bit is fucking outrageous, we are third bottom behind only Brighton & newly promoted Luton for spending and have quite clearly massively reduced the wage bill! Unfortunately, the Premier League had held concerns about the level of Everton’s transfer and salary outgoings for some time. ‘These concerns were expressed to the club over many months and yet, despite those warnings, Everton continued to spend significantly on transfer fees and wages, whereas other clubs remained within the relevant threshold.’
  12. He is not wrong! Fans need to set realistic expectations and give this fell a chance IMHO
  13. I still think he is a decent option off the bench, his pace and physicality scares defenders
  14. To be fair he needs a bigger squad if he is to be more expansive with his tactics. Saturdays side more or less picked itself and we had fuck all on the bench to change it Dyche may not be perfect but he is the best manager we have had since Moyes and is probably the perfect fit for the mess we are in at the moment
  15. Watched it again on MorD this morning and I still can’t believe VAR did not pick up the push on DCL from Barkley for the first goal
  16. Not had the benefit of seeing it on the box yet but I wasn’t remotely arsed when it went in as I was 110% certain VAR would rule it out
  17. I see where you were coming from but I think it’s a bit of a stretch to say they deserved to win For me it was two shite teams, thought they were even more shite than we were, playing out a shite game refereed by a shite ref yet VAR was even more shite than the lot
  18. Yeah that’s a fair point and he still has time to develop and you can coach the decision making in to him, it’s the talent that can’t be coached and he already has that in abundance Hopefully he kicks on but I just think he needs another period out on loan to bring his game on
  19. I’m staring to think you are on the wind up now Spurs have one of the best stadiums in world football and are in a dream location in London but haven’t secured a naming rightsdeal in over 5 years,But it’s savvy business acumen because they are waiting for the right deal Yet for Everto I’ve said it before and I will say it again, I can not believe we haven’t after 2 years not found a replacement sponsor for the stadium and the training ground, honestly what the fuck is going on within our club, if we could have found someone who only paid 20% of what USM were paying for naming rights we could have generated 40 million, and if we could have found someone to pay 50% of what USM were paying for sponsorship towards Finch Farm that could have generated somewhere in the region of 20 million a yea Since Spurs have been looking for the right deal we have bought a dock, filled it in, nearly completed a 3 year project to build a stadium, sold first option on naming rights for £30m , fielded interest from people interested because we are looking for the right deal and secured a £200m deal then fielded more interest as that fell through due to the war in Ukraine
