    Niasse is really working hard. He’s everywhere. We are actually pressing high up the pitch today. Great to see. Also Williams so far looking more confident in a back 4 as is Baines.

    How do you know that? I think from watching the team that he was told possession at all costs. If there’s not a 100% chance of a successful pass forwards go sideways or back. I think that’s what they’re all briefed. All the players look scared to take a chance and I think I can recall only one dribble of note all night.

    No pace and yet every game he doesn’t learn?!! He then brings on pace and we look a different team. We were slow all round until DCL and Vlasic came on. I’m fed up of watching. It’s like continual repeats of previous games. I haven’t felt this negative since Mike Walker. But I can probably guess the lineup for Sunday

    I blame the negative mentality. We get a free kick from the red card and what do we do? PAss it bloody sideways / backwards. Should go for the jugular, but no. Really pissed off.

    Not sure if this has been mentioned before so apologies if it has, but has anyone looked at the Nigerian league? The home team almost never loses. How / why they take bets on this league is beyond me.

    How anyone can say he wasn’t quality is embarrassing for them. Probably a case of saying something they soon regretted but instead carried on regardless. Another game, another goal! As a person don’t like him, as a player, quality and unfortunately probably will get even better.

    I’ve not been involved I have my opinions of where we are at and where we’ve been previously. I won’t accept mediocrity and haven’t said anywhere I would. FYI I was a big supporter of Martinez but in the end he needed to go (not sure how thats relevant now).

    Really disappointed with last sub. I was calling out for Mirralas to replace Williams and go 4 at the back and press on. At 1-0 we would have pushed them back. Also disappointed with Davies coming off.
