Just read a piece saying that he's actually worked miracles financially for us in this window.

Apparently it's all to do with FFP.

They've paid £115m, but can count it over the length of the contract, so only £11.5m per year. Same sort of deal as Mudryk last season.

Can't say we've not created enough opportunities. Maupay in the right place, but confidence is woefully poor and he's snatched at them.  He's worked hard for the team though.

According to SSN, Fulham are about ready to sign Hudson Odoi from Chelsea. I wonder if this is an alternative to Gray as they're getting fed up of hold ups at our end.

According to the same source we're contending with Frankfurt, West Ham and Lens.

We've looked a bit dodgy when we've been ponderous on the ball, especially trying to play out of defence. Best moments have been when we've been a bit more through the lines, ball into midfield and driving on.

Young is having a tough time of it today.
