I'm strangely up-beat about kicking off against United, It's ashame Mirallas wasn't in on time but hey ho I can still see Us giving them a very good game.
 
Apart from Van Persie they haven't really strengthened I'm not sure Kagawa will make a big impact in the EPL the biggest downer is they have Vidic and Valencia back....
 
If We can get off to a good start against Utd I hope it gives Us the impetus to have a good run of games for a change.

I voted for dog I am a dog liking person. Not keen on cats really they are more for the effeminate types who wear lace underwear and suspenders. Sooner have a rat than a cat.

Seriously though both are wonderful pets and it all depends what you like. I like an animal that will sleep during the night and not keep scratching chunks out of my favourite chair.

Yes indeed! The problem was that the British were increasing taxes without the consent of the individual colonies, hence, "No taxation without representation." There were other issues of course, with taxation being one of the more heated ones.
 
Basically, the colonies were doing all the work and the British were taking all the money/resources.
 
From the experience I have, most Americans actually don't support the current wars overseas. However, we (the government) want the resources from those countries -- so you're right regarding the irony of the situation, and I would say most - if not all - government programs are funded by taxes.
