  1. 4 Points about to the game: - It's 23 minutes into the game and it's a derby even if it's a tasty challenge you pull the guy to one side and have a word maybe even book him. Don't ruin the game. - The ref is right on top so how can he see something different than everyone else. - Suarez pushes baines in the back for the second goal how did he not see that. - Carrol bundles howard into ther post how did he not see that.# The ref is so obviosly biased to liverpool I can't beleieve the FA can let this shit occur. I have tried to think back to previous derbies on a dubious decision that ever went for us I can't think of one where as I can think of plenty that didn't. 1. Rodwell red card today. 2. The clatterbugh derby various things in that. 3. Some diving by gerrard. I am so angry at the little clubs not getting helped but the big clubs getting shit on. P.S I hate suarez as much as I hate gerrard.

  3. I agree with the post above. This interview says alot for me. http://www.football365.com/news/21554/7165777/Moyes-Cahill-Will-Play-Up-Front Moyes is a hard nosed fucker who wants to create a legacy at everton I honestly believe that. Hence why he has not left. Cahill for me has always been a striker as he does not have the skill or tackling to be a midfielder. I have no problem with the sales in the window ok we haven't replaced but of the 3 that went arteta was passed his best becks was plain old good business and yak was never going to get a game never mind who was sold so who cares. We now have 4 strikers including cahill a dutch international on loan at left wing and in my opinion the squad has not really been weakend so lets get behind them and hope the boys here can do it. Win our game in hand and we are in the top 6
  4. its a forum on deadline day sorry if your repetative strain is hurting you pressing refresh too often
  5. Halewood blue is basically a cock. You know nothing about football!!!! Ossie should be in the team ahead of arteta irrespective of whether he is at the club or not.
  6. He is a french international so what you moaning about cretins. All day I would have him
  7. God forbid but could we keep jags and then he goes on to have a awful season even though moyes will stick with him. Just like arteta and saha irrespective of from.
  8. My personal opinion is if we accept yak is out of it Beckford is the man and I think he can step up this season.
  9. I love arteta and am gutted his best season for us was when cahill was out for the whole season as together they were amazing. But he still has sell on value now and is on high wages so I think let him go and let barkly take over. WIlshire plays alot at the gunners so why not give barkley the same opportunity.
  10. I don't see where we have a stiker "CRISIS". #1 Saha - Proven Prem striker on his day scores goals for fun (french international less than a year ago)injured alot but good cover and sub. #2 Beckford - Getting up to speed in the prem but finished well and maybe a bit of an andy cole but to score 10 goals in your first season when in reality he wasn't first choice I think is a good return. I expect better this season. Just for those 10 surely he can be classed as an average prem striker and would cost 5-7 mil to buy now. #3 Vic - Workhorse glimpses of raw power. For me won't ever be a 20 a season player but does a job if his head is right I would expect 6-7 goals this season as he is ahead of Yak. #4 Yak - 2-3 years ago a top draw striker varying opinions on why he isn't anymore but always the hope he can find his form at this level again. Good goal return for leicester when sent on loan. do other teams at our level have any better.
  11. to expand the point above play players on merit and not for for favorites he reminds of Sven in that way. Saha had looked lazy since his new contract and only had a short patch where banged in alot of goals. drop him and make him scared for his place. Jags and teta could fit into that bracket too.
  12. based on the fact we can't sell him keep him and sell jags for 15 million. I do think this is one of moyes biggest problems is his holding a grudge. Even wenger is clever enough to realise play nasri in an important game when he had no-one else. I think yobo and yak would atleast give competition with places.
  13. I know it's not football manager dopey!!! it is simple maths spend less than comes in. Moyes has said they may have to sell someone big. I would welcome jags leaving for 15 mil and 2 x 3.5 mil players coming in to replace. The one free of the summer I surprised we didn't go for was seb larson good winger has been around english football for a time and is quite young
  14. Arteta is an example because there is a decent idea on what his wages are. I honestly believe arteta jags and rodwell could be sold individually (Not all 3) with little impact to where we finish in the league this year. But my main point is as fans we have to accept we support a club at a certain level of turnover and that turnover has to support a wage bill and at the moment it isn't so therefore we have to sell big wage players and bring in cheap replacements so we can break even OR manage to pay off debt. If we sell Jags and arteta for something between 25-30 mil we can pay off a decent amount of debt while reducing our wage bill and therefore make the club alot more frugal.
  15. Right so I have seen and read a lot about the going's on behind the scenes and you can get a view from all sorts of factions but I think it seems to be made too complicated. Forgetting allegancies to one view or another this is about two things the maths and balance of running a company. and the expectation of the fans. Maths of EFC Bill said it himself in simple terms our costs are 5 Million over our income every year and we have to borrow the short fall. so for me we have to reduce operating costs baring in mind the biggest cost is player wages we have to sell to reduce the wage bill and recruit players to fit in with our wage structure. An example Arteta 75k a week or 3.9 mil a year. Just by selling him for 5 mil we have reduced our costs to near balancing point and paid off 5 mil of debt. We don't need arteta as we have osman and back up will HAVE TO come from the youth team who are already covered in the current costs. Fan Expectation To be able to balance the books we have to accept some big names will go and the replacements will be inferior. We may not be happy as fans about this but it's reality and calling for big money signings is pointless as we don't have the money. My personal opinion sell some key high earning players to reduce the costs to a balanced level use the transfer money to pay off debt and replace the players we sell with their squad understudy (Osman = Arteta) (heitinga = Jags) then replace the squad with the youth. In addition we the fans accept the club is cutting it's costs accordingly and we support the team that is put out. If that means mid-table this season I for one will take it if the team that goes out fights and tries to play the best football they can.
  16. Watching it back I sort of agree with moyes if the baines freekick goes in or one of the other decent chances or two of them then it's a different game and we would be saying good result performance doesn't matter too much. I think there is a fine linebetween a win and loss for us. Who should have played on the right we have no one?
  17. http://news.bbc.co.u...ll/14603576.stm Don't think I can argue with anything he says about the BK revelations, the performance of barkley, the lack of signings. My real concern is it used to be after something like that he would look angry and passionate here he just looks dejected and like he will try what he can but doesn't expect too much
  18. from the 13 minutes I saw we had a reasonable amount of chances but we are calling out for a beckford and a decent deep playing striker.
  19. SAHA SAHA SAHA SHIT CUNT SCUM........... will someone please shoot this dead horse. I watched the last 13 minutes and he gave it away 5 out of 7 kicks. My god we are one down and we don't put on 2 strikers. We are relying on a 17 year old to get us the win. I want to scream french predjudiced obsenities but seriously why do we stick with saha season in season out. That was like one of his perfomances when he signed his 1 mil a week contract. half arsed and fucking shit. You can moan about a lazy yak all day but I would take a stoned overfed yak any day over that french scum bag. Get him out of this club before I explode.
  20. there is a report on Newsnow that claims around 4 million euros I would be happy if this gave us the opportunity to add to our winger roster
  21. Although unlikely wouldn't it be amazing if we had one of our performaces where we just run a mock and score tons of goals loads of chances really shove the board problems down the throat of the supporters and everyone. I want investment as much as the next man but in reality all I want is to be able to watch whoever turns out win games and win enough in an exciting enough way as to keep my interest. Is it a darker day today when we haven't been less than 7th for 5 years or darker when we were all calling for moyes head after 7 games without a win.
  22. http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport1/hi/football/14557090.stm? how much would you take for him
  23. Memmaclub

    Spurs (away)

I would play a team of: Howard Neville Jags Distin baines Bily Osman Felli arteta Cahill Yak
  24. now we lost coleman we are already 1 first teamer down. It's all well and good relying on youngsters to fill out the squad but they need to have been blooded and have experience.
  25. I am just thinking with baines and now coleman both playing well as attacking full backs would it be worth trying to make use of this with a 3 at the back type formation as below: Howard Jags Jonny H Distin Coleman Baines Arteta Felli Cahill Saha Yak I know this may seem footy manager type thinking but it would allow us to utilise more the players we have in their best positions. It would give cahill a free role to get forward it would give felli and arteta more licence to stay higher up and hold a position so we are not holding the line right outside our box. It gives baines and coleman enough cover with 3 at the back to get forward. It allows us to play two upfront with a supporting midfielder. and although it only gives us one player in the wide positions denpending on who we had upfront they could move wide to cross the ball for their strike partner.
