  1. I support the club actions in this case - the 'tweets' were in a public sphere to a well known fan with a large following. Perhaps more weight with the club @evertonfc tagged prompted them to act. I don't think Ric Wee made much of it, just that the PR team at Everton follow Ric Wee on twitter, and would have seen the abuse directed to him. I think if private That being said, I think people should grow a pair and stop being so precious. We had a case here in Australia where a 100kg 1.94m footballer was called an 'ape' by a 13 year old supporter. He said she really hurt her feelings and dragged her through the national media cycle for a week or so, prompting an apology by the club, and the fan herself. Best response I've seen to racism is Dani Alves and the banana - class.
  2. Well done all... was an interesting comp.
  3. I agree... have gotten used to the 'current' one... but a new one has been chosen, and for better or worse, we're stuck with it.
  4. I think this goes here... getting ready for next season already, and updated my laptop and mobile wallpaper with the new badge.
  5. Southampton 1 - 2 Everton Osman
  6. I'd like to suggest that Barkley was out on the left to bait MU... Moyes and the media talk him up, so he's out there on the Left, with the defenders focusing on him - look at how much space Coleman had on the right, time and time again! Clever bit of tactics/mind games from Martinez.
  7. I'm in the mood for a bit of fun. Finish this sentence: "If Everton qualifies for Champions League this season, I will..."
  8. Sunderland 0 - 6 Everton Coleman
  9. I voted Naismith... usually I think he's better as an impact sub, but he did very well today!
  10. I wonder where Gibson would fit in?
  11. 1-0 I'm predicting... grinding it out like we usually do against 'should win comfortably' teams...
  12. Make your own luck I guess... that's why Chelski is on top. Ramirez went down easily, but Jags did put his foot across his line. I've seen our players go down for the same or even less. Would have been livid if that Torres dive/foul/free ended in a goal. To be fair they pushed and pushed late in the 2nd half and got their goal... had us on the back foot for the last 15 mins or so.
  13. Then lucky it's a loan, and not a huge signing that broke the bank....
  14. I heard out for 5-6 weeks. Can anyone confirm?
  15. If Pienaar could stay on his feet... Goes down easily (not that he's dirty, just that he gets knocked around). If he had a bit more strength to ride challenges and get past the defender a bit more...
  16. I found a highlight from the game...
