It's a sad situation when we have to rely on Rom being fit or it's all doom and gloom.......against Watford at home. These should be the sort of games where our injured players coming back could sit out for that extra bit, as our back up players would be more than capable to fill in. Unfortunately with our squad with only have a good starting 11 when all are fit....bar a couple i suppose. So i am also praying Rom is fit for Sat, along with Stones and Kev, then we have more than enough to beat Watford and only Watford. More faces will be essential for the following weeks trip to Southampton.

Totally agree with this rant/statement.

I personally think that the players have lost some respect for Martinez. A new manager came in with fresh ideas and every player was out to impress for their place. Gareth Barry was immense that season so he is the prime example of playing for a contract. Last season was evident that Martinez has no plan B in his locker, it was then up to the players to speak aloud their concerns. i do not know what goes on in that dressing room at half time but if the team were under performing in the first half, David Moyes face would tell you what was waiting. I don't see this in Roberto, i think the players know that they aren't in for a bollocking which has to have some sort of impact if they are playing shite. I know this isn't his way/style if you like but ....playing with a a bit of fear that the hairdryer treatment is coming i think is a good thing. Just my opinion.

Martinez is shit scared of starting with 2 natural wide men so never going to happen. Also the most obvious error is no Mr Barry in the team. Bar injury/suspension he's the first on the team sheet.

We cannot afford to wait until Jan. With Gerry and Mirallas injury prone there is no way I can tolerate 5 months of trying Naismith, Barkley or Ossie out wide. Even Kone like the last game. We need players now or our season will be worse than the last one.

I would take 9m right now. If Stones goes for 30 plus million, every fucker will add at least another 2 on top for all of our targets. Lennon was one of the few brighter things last season.

It's not all Barry's fault, he will always want to be on the pitch playing..... he's just a couple of years past his use by date. Martinez on the other hand- continually playing Barry needs a few slaps and fast. It's no coincidence when buying players from a relegated team that we are struggling. One released and now the other 2 are still putting in shocking performances.
