I hate slagging our players off but Osman just hasn't got it anymore. 2 great examples of where his pace and energy ( even coming on as sub) isn't there. Baines cut back and the goal was at his mercy just too slow. Defending too slow to track Ramsey for Arsenals first. I know pace isn't everything as Barry showed today. Thought him and Naismith were the best players on the pitch. Again defending really let us down. I don't know what's happened to jags and DIstin but they are a liability at the moment. Arsenal deserved their draw in the end and after how below par they played says a lot for our second half performance.

I want some of whatever Naismith has taken today.

I was a bit negative last week predicting the draw so i'm being the total optimist this week. Lets hope Steve is generous when my prediction is correct

Thought the draw was the fair result in the end. Lukaku was woeful IMO and the lack of match practice was evident. Naismith and Mcgeady both took their goals well but that was about all. Baines and PIenaar showed glimpses of old not enough though. Predicted a 1-1 before the game so not really shocked at the result. 2 massive monster home games up next. A massive step up all over the pitch is needed.

I'm hoping i'm wrong just like my normal footy bets and we do see Mirallas and Rom Coleman too. Got a feeling Roberto will start them on the bench and say they just lacked match fitness to start.

Needing a goal with half an hour to go and we look to the bench. We can see Kone, Naismith and Eto. I know who I would bring on. Think he would make a good squad player esp with Europe. (Wage cut only though).

Hey John, no can't complain about living here. Tried golf a few years back but have not got the patience (ability). Grew up around the corner from Eddie Howe so be good to see him do well at Bournemouth. Top bloke as he is a massive Everton fan. First Everton memory was crying after the 86 cup final and there have been more than a few times since that them Blues have made me feel that way. Only been to Goodison once ( will change when I stop playing) that was for a tour and it was closed. New job so looking forward to posting this year. COYB let's go one better than last year!!!!!!!!

If pre season is anything to go on (which is hard to ignore) then i predict a scrappy 1-1 draw. Leicester's first game back in the Prem will be like a cup final atmosphere and on the back of a very good pre season and winning the Championship their confidence will be sky high. I say scrappy 1-1 as i can see Leon, Hibbert and Naismith all starting. Wins will always be tough to come by when this is the case.

If this is anything to go by this season then we are seriously fucked.Its f-ing Blackpool and we have our first fit eleven out there tonight,they totally out classed us first half so god knows what Arsenal will do to us!!!!!!!!!Jr is young and will be a world class player,but not at centre back.The usual Hibbert out of position and as for Leon Osman...theres no words!!!I know its only a friendly but after last season we have gone backwards.Jags out till nov and Arteta who knows??Greedy ungateful bastard Lescott off to City-probably!So we have Saha,Yak and Peanut to come in.Apart from them 3,tonight we have fielded our strongest 11 and look awful.We cant attract top players due to wage demands and cl appeal.DM is the master at bringing championship players through,now the yids fuck us at that game!!!
