Stones a clear motm for me, I said before the start of the prem opener that any game Hibbo and Osman start together a win will be hard to come by. Hibbo though had a solid game tonight, Osman was excellent at being fucking useless again. Happy with a draw but after tonight it highlights how shit our squad really are. I hate to say it but I had such high hopes at the start of the season, it's only just turned October and I'm fearing the worst. It's not just the results but the level or standard our performances are at. Something needs to change soon.

Fuck me just watched the game as was playing so got through the day without some dick telling me the score. No we didn't play well and yes Rom has the touch of Joseph fritzle at times but a draw at Anfield is a good result. Can't understand all the Howard bashing though. That save onto the bar from that Italian diving prick was world class. Yes maybe could have done better with the goal but IMO I thought he did okay. Hibbert did better than I expected and put in one lovely challenge that I expect of a derby. Stones was a clear motm for me. All in all not the best performance but happy with the outcome.

Team I would start if Seamus is out. Howard Stones. Jags. Baines Mcarthy. Barry Besic Mcgeady Naismith Mirallas Lukaku Maybe a bit risky with 3 at the back but having 4 hasn't worked. So with Besic, Barry and McCarthy to cover you never know.

Besic, Gibson, Hibbo, Atsu, Baby, Alcaraz, Eto , garbutt, with hardly any playing time between them this season is it such a shock we lost? I don't like losing any game but with the shit with have that's called depth of squad I can't think of anything worse than playing more games in this cup. I'm not going to lose any sleep over this game nor will the players rested for Saturday fearing for their places if certain individuals played a blinder. A derby win on Sat and all this Howard and lukaku shit will be hopefully be forgotten about....... For at least 5 days anyway.

Hearing same line up as win against West Brom. That's my first wish granted now for a win with a clean sheet.

Besic, Garbutt, Gibson, Eto, Pienaar ???????? We won and kept and clean sheet on Saturday so why not keep the same team? We can't afford to chop and change and try this and that. It's Wolfsburg after all not Wimbledon. Get off to a decent start in the group then mix it up against the less fancied teams later on.

Toughest game in the group bar the reverse fixture of course. I personally would like to see the same team that beat West Brom on Saturday esp with the back 4 keeping a clean sheet. I think that if too many changes are made we will get beaten so i would prefer the same starting XI for the next 2 home games then make all the changes for Swansea next week. That will give the main starters a nice 5 day break before the big one a week on Saturday.

Not saving Distin just need to drop either him or Jags. Saved Jags as he looked like the player we know on Monday albeit only 15 mins but i'm hoping it will be the turning point. Tough game then again there isn't an easy game away in the prem esp with our circus act as a defence at the moment. Big Vic will be up for the this altough he's about a good a premiership striker than i am dancer he can still cause havoc to any defenders........on his day. This game isn't going to be pretty or a great example of fine football but this has to be 3 points no matter how ugly they are won. I can see this being a very open end to end game with a few goals. Purely for the fact we have goals in us but cannot defend for s**t at the moment.
