He's grown up allot this season, his passing and movement have come on leaps and bounds, and he has always had the ability to beat a man.
My only worry is that he has been playing in the middle and we are well stocked there.
Would prefer Demara Grey from Leicester anyway.
For the first 5 or so games he played well, creating 3 or 4 goals and scoring a couple, his poor form started around November. Since the team has settled and he has found his role and understood what Koeman wants he has been back to near his best.
You are right that no player is bigger than the club, but, I believe it is important for clubs to try wherever possible to have local players who are fans in the team. It adds to the connection between the fans and the team.
Probably going to sign at the end of the season, I hope he is concentrating on his football and leaving the rest to when the season ends. I guess he also wants to see how much he is going to play.
He is an Evertonian, he's one of us and showing now what a quality player he is so I really, really hope he signs a new contract and would be surprised and gutted if he didn't.
I hope he gets to play for us again, as I just have a feeling about this guy. Given what Unsy said he sees something in him and we might sign him anyway which would be a good.
I'm curious, do you actually think before you type your posts or do you just look at a picture of Martinez and let the hate flow?
I mean we are all pissed off with how he failed us in seasons 2 and 3, everyone knows he had to go, but we don't have a burning hatred for the man that you obviously do.
As its valentine's day why don't you pucker up and give that crumpled up picture you have of Martinez a kiss and say out loud "I forgive you Roberto"
Overall I agree Moyes worked wonders with the little budget he had, but he did sign some right old clangers.
We lost £1.8 million on Kroldrup who just was not suited to the Premier League and I think had some MH issues, Bilyaletdinov scored 8 goals and created an amazing 4 assists in 59 appearances he cost us about £10 million and according to the BBC we got about £5 million back for him.
The point I was making is that most managers have a mixed transfer record. Martinez did sign some good players.
I think your referring to me, although being a halfwit you are half right in that I am a liberal but I am no Nazi.
