  1. Thank God for that, I didn't hear any at the West Brom Match when I was there. Just get him signed up to a new contract.
  2. Williams, yes. Jags is past it, Holgate is not there yet.
  3. Depends what your definition of footballer is. For me Rom is a great footballer, he scores goals, creates chances, stretches defenses. What he does not have is great ball control which Bergkamp did have. But Technique is not the be all and end all of being a great footballer.
  4. He won a couple of fouls and was involved in a couple of nice moves. He was a constant thorn in Hulls side with his movement and positioning.
  5. Arsenal are in free fall, Pool were so so poor against Burnley, UTD have a fixture pile up. Next 2 games are key for us, if we can get 4 points then we have a chance for top 6
  6. Ross, but could easily been Davies, or Gana. Honorable mentions for Rom and Calvert-Lewin.
  7. Four goals and 3 points and we didnt really try too hard. Was impressed with Calvin-Lewis, he looks a quality player in the making, very good technique, can go past opponents, and gets into good positions. Davies was immense, he was everywhere, his passing was good and again his positional sence is so advanced, he really caused Hull so many problems running past Lukaku and hanging around between the midfield and defense. Barkley again my MOTM for his all round play, he is such a key player for us now. Glad to see Lukaku score and his and the crowds reaction. I don't think this contract saga is over just yet!
  8. Goal was a brilliant move. I fancy us to win by a canter if we up the tempo and cut out the silly mistakes. We can't underestimate this Hull side or it will cost us. We need to get a second goal to kill the game off.
  9. I just can't believe that Ross won't sign a new contract. I can understand both sides waiting for the summer to see how things pan out. In November / December I'm not sure Koeman knew if Ross would be a key part of the team and Ross didn't know if he would be wanted. Now Koeman wants him and Ross appears to be enjoying things I can see him signing in the summer. Please God anyway!
  10. Just pissed off with players deciding when they play and when they don't. It shows a lack of respect to the club, the fans and football.
  11. Fact - a thing that is known or proved to be true.Leicester stopped playing for Ranieri. As soon as he left they win 3 on the bounce and qualify for champion's league quarter final. I would say that is known and therefore a fact.
  12. I have to say he is right, we should have signed Gabiadini, it shows intent and eases the Burden on Rom. We have to convince him that we are ambitious and hopefully this will be done and we will sign some top quality players.
  13. True, but I can't stand Vardy, hes a complete wanker, him and the rest of Leicester squad. The fact that they went on strike to get rid of Ranieri is nothing short of disgusting.
  14. Gana is more dynamic, and better in the tackle and has more stamina. I think playing with Everton will develop his game as well.
  15. I am glad Moshiri made the statement he did. I'm sure Rom loves playing for us, he is happy settled and the team is geared to enabling him to score goals. We know he is ambitious and wants to play Champs league and who can blame him. I am sure this is about having a clause in the contract so that if a champs league comes in for him he can go and how much that is. Lets give him a fair price, and a deadline for each transfer window so we can get a replacement. This will get sorted.
  16. On the plus side Haf will be happy and we can close down this thread, which seems to have a life of its own, I wonder if the thread will transfer with Lukaku?
  17. Maybe, I wont panic until the summer and its not signed. I imagine its about a release fee for a Champs league club if they come bidding, as mentioned in the Echo. If he doesn't sign then as he has 2 years left we will get quite a bit for him.
  18. Having been at the game at the weekend I have to say he is a quality player. His reading of the game is as good as Barry's and very very dynamic. I have to disagree he tried to pass the ball forward and get us going. He is the midfield general we have needed.
  19. I expect a reaction to the spurs defeat and with our home form a win. I think we will be more attacking and expect McCarthy and Mirallas to start in place of Barry and Fans. Certainly a big test for Koeman and the team, must win and i think we will.
  20. Double header this weekend, am up from London for the match (yay!) Then going with my, Mrs, dad and brother to Liverpool Vs Burnley as we got him tickets for his birthday and they are all reds.
  21. If the Spurs game taught us anything its the following: 1) Barry is too old and slow against teams who press in midfield. 2) When we flood the midfield with central players then we don't have enough attacking options, attacks break down and we hand the initiative back to the opposition. Robles, Coleman, Baines, Mori, Williams, Gana, McCarthy, Morgan, Barkley, Mirallas, Lukaku
