  2. yeah but have you noticed the pink lines actually go thru the evrton badge, so looks slightly fake to me
  3. maybe moyes is thinking of european experience, someone who knows how to play in europe, can speak tot he lads about it etc, it said in the paper, 2 year contract with a possible coaching role at the end!
  4. i was a bit bad and bought one of those tops, mine was 12 pound from a shop onlien called allsportware, it came within a week, and is perfect haha, i have bought the actual shorts and socks from evertondirect tho, all in all saved myself 20 quid. (i play 5 a side) hence the shorts and socks
  5. yeah your right in a way, but we have a good while still, to bring some names in, but it is starting to wind me up a bit the way were letting players get away, the worst one of all is jacobsen, he wouldnt have cost us nothing, and he still let him go, bearing in mind the total of matches we could actually be playing this season
  6. id defintely have dempsey,i think hes quite a decent player, and would fit into the squad nicely, even if he didnt always start i think he'd be happy at goodison,
  7. sorry to dampen your dillusional transfer specualtion plus random high valuations. Cahill is brilliant int he system we use, an excellent player, he is now approaching 30. Someone mentions Sheva at 30 moving for big bucks, this fella was AC Milans leading player, he scored many goals not only int he league but the champions league, he was at the time ukraines best asset. Same with Frank Lampard, he has played at the top of the game for years, although we hate him, he is one of chelseas, and englands leading players. Cahill at his age would cost a team no more than 10mil, but moyes obv wouldnt sell for that, but you wouldnt get much more bidding from teams over 10 mil. Hes here for a bit longer anyway, he will probli play his last days in austrailia i think
  8. thats a very good point mate, i think it has to be both, we have obviously improved over the last couple of years, and have evolved into a solid (at this moment in time) top 6 club, whereas owens career has stalled in a big way, he now finds himself out of contract from a club thats just been relegated, when if you look back a few years ago, he was at madrid, didnt always play, but the fact remains he was at madrid. So in answer to well pointed question, i would say both.
  9. well said, im pissed off with him now, and like someone else said he seems the type to disrupt player harmony, plus last year he was worth 4 mil, stayed at teh same shitty team, for one year, now is worth in excess of 10mil, playing in an ok league, nothing special about it whatso ever, what makes mbia think he could handle the premiership
  10. thats bad news that mate, some fan you are too, going over there for that friendly i raise my hat to you! But i have to agree with the statement jamie made,. defintely look into it as much as you can though, or just enjoy the trip over there and go to watch asante kotoko play there cup match or whatever they have decided to do instead! IMO they all look liek they just broke out of jail! so its a good job we didnt play them haha Heres the Asante Kotoko coach and others talking about whos to blame for the cancellation of the match http://www.asantekotokofc.org/Newreel/2009.../jarvis_plb.htm
  11. i have just read that sky sports article and i was going to go into one!! but you have summed it up mate. However as someone previous mentioned, it could be the agent trying to bump fees and salaries etc up. But if that is M'Bia's feeling then he can go join Marseille and stay in that shitty little league
  12. All You Need To Know - http://www.skysports.com/story/0,19528,11661_5407187,00.html Hope we go for his signature, there would have course, no doubt, be the problem of sorting his wages...
  13. haha realistically though, like, back int he REAL world, that article with jo, richards and 10 mil haha whoever believes that in the slightest needs there head testing!! Moyes would never even come out with a scare tactic, cos city would just laugh it off and continue persuing him
  14. i would have him if hsi value is 4mil which i don't think it is. Pure paper talk by the looks of things. I think he would do well at everton personally. And yes he was homesick but he was living in london, a busy city, he may prefer it up north were its slightly more laid back
  15. haha I will also be disapointed in lescott if he leaves, we need to start keeping our main assets, moyes has come out an said in recent weeks, that we don't have to sell, so stick with the plan and don't sell. Hopefully lescott is happy enough not to stick in a transfer request, but i suppsoe we will have to wait and see
  16. look around and lets find a better deal, 3/4 spurs fans don't rate him, he aint mobile enough for our team, and he doesnt even get into the spurs team, when in fact were a better team than spurs. So overall a big no from me. Moyes can do better, don't just think we had slow movement in the transfer market last year, that we have to go all guns blazin with 8mil+ for that kind of player. Think Moyes Think!!!
  17. he can tell his grandkids he played for the best football team in england!! haha
  18. very silly to sell, but it mite not cum down to the club wanting to sell or not, it might get to the point were lescott asks to leave, in that situation you then have to take what you can get for him Hope it doesnt come to that though!!
  19. craigb

    Pre-season

We also have conventry at the ricoh arena
  20. really hope we don't sell, the more i think about it the more i think hes an excellent player. Don't get me wrong ive always liked lescott, but i think he has the right motivation and respect for the club, and there key players to a team like ourselves. Fingers crossed we finally reject these big money bids for our main players and that lescott himself, as someone said previous comes out with a bold statement in saying he wants to stay at everton
  21. haha joking arent you, everyone else has transfer news on sky sports, we have as our main headline, rodwell hopes for semi start... grrr pisses me off waiting for news, loads of teams are looking at ppl, we have a few stories then the teams come out and deny we have interest in them ...
