  1. I didnt have any money over the weekend to get a ticket, but i was checking the seating out regardless, and were i sit (Lower Gwladys) the seats were very few and far between. Anyhow ive got money for a ticket today but there seems to be loads of free seats and near enough the whole ground says, very good, regarding seats in those paricular areas. Is there something wrong here? Check it out for yourselves... http://www.evertonfc.talent-sport.co.uk/PagesPublic/ProductBrowse/standAndAreaSelection.aspx?stadium=GD&product=T10G01&campaign=%20%20&type=H
  2. i would defintely have him here, another player if bought though, that could be ruled out for a while due to the african cup of nations, as it says benin look good for reaching the finals...?

    Malaga

yeah there was a particular challenge he made at the start of the game just outside our box and he slid in and won the ball prefectly. I thought he had a good game myself. As of the team, i thought we played well in the first half, took are foot of the gas second half and let them pass it around, and at times they passed it well
  4. I didnt want to swear on the topic title hence the name "weasels". Journalists really are the low of the low arent they. Check out todays "what the papers say" topic on the os. http://www.evertonfc.com/news/what-the-papers-say-7-august.html Every article has the same crap as the last.. that lescott is going to be greeted by an "angry backlash" haha what the hell are they talking about? Lescott is still very much an everton player, they all think hes been telling moyes an bill that he wants to leave, and one even says hes put in a transfer request haha. I hate them soo much, and you know what, at the match tonight, anyone who booes him sitting close to me, will be confronted with a few angry words.
  5. actually getting a ticket could be a different matter though!
  6. its funny the way people are saying, i hate "txt" talking, they arent even spelling "text" right haha But im ok with this ruling... however please forgive me if now and again i forget and use it, as im constantly texting people on my phone it can translate so easily to the internet!
  7. sigma it is, everton home leg first
  8. any publicity is good publicity but yeah it was shite!
  9. i agree with the wallwriter and bill etc, thats the positive attitude we need. Why try sp hard to get to this comp last year, for everyone to say ok id prefer if we went out. As someone said the squad wernt much bigger in 07, so lets do it again, and again, lets prove our critics wrong Btw efcfanatic, that girl you have in your picture is ratehr nice haha
  10. close this topic its painful discussing gr8 players that will never pull on an everton shirt
  11. you know what your getting with neville though aswell, so that stands him in good stead.. likes of osman were you know hes capable of soo much more at times, but he fails to deliver, dnt get me started on hibbert! by the way i was unimpressed by the way he tried to run out of position with the ball, when euell was behind him for the second blackpool goal, that absolutly pissed me off!
  12. yeah its all good building a squad, but at least 2 out of the 3 wingers mentioned will want continual first team football, downing and young? delph will be there to fight his way in, but the other two are first team regulars surely? so how do you keep them happy, i know downings injured till whenever, but once hes back?
  13. you don't actually know that though, there could be a deal being sorted behind the scenes, or everton might not even be interested in him?
  14. im not going against what you said at all, as it makes alot of sense, but what is his primary purpose, as the purpose moyes originally bought him for was to clear things up in midfield etc, but as you say, his disciplinary record shows he isnt the best at winning possesion, or at least, isnt just yet, id like to think his primary purpose is now to score goals from midfield, help out in attacks, just some random talk here, but did you see his shot in the coventry match, keeper pulled of a great save, top corner material!!
  15. hahaha!!! CaptainFerguson, great first post, an enjoyable read even if it was on the downside of evertons misfortunes!
  16. yeah he did look very sluggish , takin the ball over the centre circle for him was a big task yesterday, it will be down to that virus though... Yeah he is slim anyway, but he looked leaner last year, looked skinny with no muscle yesterday, although having said that he still held the ball up well at times
  17. why should rasmus be "flattered" by city, they may have money but they are still a nothing club, and i reall do hope they fail miserably!, continue your pre season efforts shiteh http://www.skysports.com/story/0,19528,11671_5470402,00.html
  18. Says on the os he has lost weight due to a viral infection which affected his blood.. When watching the match yesterday before i heard this news, i did think to myself fellaini looks really skinny, did anyone else pick this up, now that its been clarified it makes sense
  19. haha its funny how an increased bid which was rejected has now sparked us fans to increase lescotts valuation... A couple of weeks ago before the first bid was lodged, people on the board and of this board said, the 15 mil city are about to put in is useless, if they want him they will have to be paying 20 mil+ Now that citys bid has increased to 18, and was rejected, there is talk of an improved offer of 22mil?? Now all of a sudden, our valuation of lescott is £30 million. If we do sell him which i hope we don't i really hope we do get the best deal possible and squeeze every last penny out of them
  20. at first i thought anything over 20mil we could possibly sell. the more i think about it though the more i want lescott to stay, defender crisis aside, he is a quality player, a player which i love to have at everton, he's done an amazing job for us, so lets be resilient although we could do with a 20 mil injection, i think we should keep him no matter what
  21. i agree wit this... saha looks sharp, his play is looking good, hes getting on the scoresheet, even round said a few weeks back, he thinks it could be a good year for saha, i hope so, because we all know he has that quality
  22. i have no qualms with what you said mate i was just laughing at what dangermouse wrote
