i'm unsure on owen. He was a great player at liverpool, then he moved to madrid an his football career went down hill from there an sank even lower when he signed for Jokecastle. You seen at jokecastle his heart wasn't in it. However he is a boyhood blue and is on a free transfer. The one thing you know about owen is when he is on the pitch he will score goals. Also he is a very nice guy and very experianced player who i feel could help the younger players by passing on his seeds of knowledge.

To buy Everton out right i imagine its going to cost between 200-300 million, then you got to build a new stadium which will cost around 300-400 million to build once you brought the land, paid off any people who's house you need to knock down an build the infrastructure around it. so thats 500+mil you spent before you paid off debt an then started spending on the team. The fact is that these Billionaire want instant sucess, they don't want to be messing around building stadiums. Look at liverpool, there stadium stop being built because the owners can't afford it anymore or can't be arsed building it because it cost to much money. The biggest and best way to improve off the field is to build a new stadium and that's why Kirkby is great as we aren't paying for most of it. It will improve overall gate receipts and also we will have more corporate boxes which is were the money is made.
