There is no way that the RS are worth £800m. I can never understand why nobody has bought Everton?? We've got better fans, club would be cheaper and we've got a manager who has made us a force in the Prem on limited funds.

On one of the footy forums I am a member of there is alot of Villa fans & Iv been having an argument/discussion with them and they all think Young's challenge was OK & certainly not a red card. They also thought that the ref gave them nothing all night and may as well of had an Everton shirt on? Strange how 2 sets of fans see the games??

I was only a wee nipper in the 80's but at work (bearing in mind out of an office of about 35 and the fact where near Grimsby there are 7 Everton here) they always tell me that we would have dominated Europe and England for seasons to come. Bit like United have in the Prem. However, my boss a Spurs fan for 40 years disagrees he says we were a good side but only "as" good as Liverpool who he reckons would have probably still won titles/cups rather than us win the majority. RE: Last night, I think if you look back on this post alot of fans had us down for a draw even a defeat so not to have lost is a bonus. Yes I am disappointed we've thrown a lead away again but I still remember the beginning of the season & the game at Hull were I saw the worst Everton performance Iv seen for a long time then look where we are now. Maybe not being in Europe next season (even tho I havent given up hope) will be a blessing in disguise? Harry Redknapp said last season he didnt want to go into Europe & look how Spurs are doing....

I dont like to give tips incase they dont come in & people become rather annoyed with me but if you cant find a horse you like then have a look at Faaval and cerisum (sp)

I think its alot of revenue to lose if its done bit at a time. For example if Top Balcony, Family stand etc are closed thats like 20000 tickets -/+ not avaiable for sale

My brothers ex-girlfriend used to work at G/P in the restaurant & I remember her telling me years ago that she had overed heard execs talking about re-developing G/P but it wouldnt be possible due to the school and the houses near by as it would cost more than building a new ground??

I would like us to sign Cairney from Hull. He is only young but looks a very clever player, similar style to arteta. Out goings I dont think there would be any except YT's. I have to admit I wouldnt be sad to see Distin go as Iv never rated him and I think the Yak has struggled of late too.

No We played Spurs at weekend. Hull havent played at all last weekend

Hull have had a a whole week off to prepare for this game whilst we looked very tired in Lisboa and out of energy 1st half against Spurs. I think the tough February fixtures are starting to take a toll on a small squad hit with injuries to key players. Hull are fighting for survival and like most of us on here we all know what a team has to do to avoid the drop. Could we be in line for another defeat to Hull?

Just wondered if those who went to the game can comment on how Terry got treated last night? I only saw Football first and although he got booed with his 1st touch I didnt hear much for the rest of the game? I went to the Hull V Chelsea game with by brother in law and at 1st it was quite funny but after about 10 minutes the booing became a little boring.

After the aweful start we have had and all the injuries we've had where would you be happy for us to finish in the division at the end fo the season. Personally Id like us to get a Europa Cup spot. I know its a long way off now but if we get a good run together a bit like Spuds did end of last season you never know???

I have a bit of a dislike to agents & its something I feel FIFA should step in on. For starters I think players should pay agents themselves and clubs should not. Or (as I guess they'll find ways round it) there should be a maximum agents can receive in a transfer of a player

Totally agree. If we had played badly and lost I would be worried at this time but playing well & creating chances is all positive. If we continue to play like that, plus get injured players back I can see us doing what Spuds did last season and make a charge up the table.

I wasnt totally against the move away from GP but shes an old ground that is well & truly out of date. I never understood alls these people that kept on saying "hey why build outside Liverpool? There is a spot here or here or here" I dont think they realsied that Everton FC could not afford to build the stadium and only with the help of Tesco's was it ever going to happen. I think those who thought we could go it alone where living in "money grows on trees land" Everton still cant afford a stadium on our own but as luck has it neither can the sh1te since those American blokes are doing such a good job So a shared stadium would be ideal. Just do all the seats white to stop people complaining/crying. The name of the ground wont matter as it'll be sold to the higest bidder for naming rights anyway. Costs cut in half can only be good news for both clubs and help one another compete in the transfer market.

Im coming over for tonights game from Hull and although Iv done the journey for many years Im always interested in new info. I normally come in on the M62 all the way to the ring round then go round the ring road parking at the school car park close by analfield (think it was £6 last season) However, a few Evertonians at work prefer to switch to the M57 then come in on the A580. Is there any other parking around there? free infact?? Im always suprised there isnt a park and ride to the ground but thats another story.

I think the Villa game at the weekend is vital to how our season goes. Another defeat and we could be getting into a scrap with the relegation candidates. We need a match that is going to be the "turning point" we seemed to have had them in seasons gone by (recently anyway) Even if its the worst game in history but we win it could change how the team performs for the rest of the season. We need something especially with Benfica coming up next Thursday. If we just die and roll over again at the weekend its going to be very painful V Benfica. Yes we've got injuries perhaps the biggest in the Premiership but that should be more inviting for those players who are playing to show the Moyes what they can do. At the moment Im not getting that feeling?

Oh I see. No I like Bill. I know he's bullsh1tted us a few times like that investment (I cant even remember the name of them now????? thats going to annoy me!) but his hearts in the right place.

Im not a Kenwright basher! I think he's done a good job with the club but; and hes admitted this himself; hes not got the finances to take Everton forward.

I heard that Birmingham will have a transfer budget of £40m available. With quite a few (Smaller clubs) being bought up giving them greater spending power does it not worry you? I cant believe that there isnt a multimillionnaire/Billionnaire out there that isnt interested in buying Everton. I mean when you look at the clubs history and what it has achieved under David Moyes with limited resources there must be someone out there thinking... "hang about if this club can be a regular Europa club spending very little compared to the teams around them, I wonder what I could do with them if I gave them £40m in transfer fees for the next 4 years???"
