  1. It's intelligent firstly, second it was a wind up as I read your post history and thought you would be smart enough to get it. However, I was wrong!
  2. Yeap, soon becoming the worst pre-season in living memory. Senderos and O'Neill is like potentially signing the chuckle brothers, only the chuckle brothers were funny!
  3. Argue all you want, you'll be broke soon enough again. And if that talk about Gary O'Neill is true, I'm very disappointed.
  4. And how do you know? Champ management doesn't count ok.
  5. It would be a good deal if we have other targets lined up straight away like Liverpool did, however I very much doubt Everton have a clue what to do next. And if we do get 25 mill, I think Wolves get 4 mill and I suspect some of that cash will go to paying for Jo next summer, leaving very little for Moyes to deal with. So is 25 mill really a good deal?
  6. Taylor is quality, and I think he is 23 which should mean he is only going to get better. I also vastly prefer him to Senderos as he can play at right-back, and think we'll get him cheaper as well. At least he is a good actor:
  7. Ok fair enough it was, was annoyed at Everton_worshipper jibe at me. But we as fans have increasingly less power to do anything, even at AGM's we are heavily restricted (those share members among us) to speak our mind. Anyway guess that's the way of big business, personally I will not invest in it any more financially.
  8. And fans like you hold this club back from greatness! You talk about my post has been speculation, but points in there has bore fruit. While I suspect the apologists like yourself still believe in 'Kenwright love for the club' bollocks? The only hard fact you won't find is Billy meeting with Citeh excs, but it has been highly suggested (just as like with Lescott request before it broke today) by several news outlets that Citeh were welcomed to bid again: http://www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/football/article-1205668/EXCLUSIVE-Manchester-City-boss-Mark-Hughes-closes-20m-deal-Joleon-Lescott.html Anyway you believe what ever makes you content, I believe this club is in serious trouble.
  9. All of this is typical of how Everton as a club is mis-management from head to toe. We all knew Kenwright wanted to sell, and was stalling for a higher fee. This has also provern that again Kenwright has FAILED as a chairman to provide what is best for the club, by being self-obsessed with Kirby and his own pockets rather than driving this club forward. Just like Rooney and Speed, Lescott was 'offered' to Citeh once their interests were known of. The fact that Kenwright met some citeh representatives on the weekend allegedly once Citeh said they wanted to go elsewhere shows what a dis-honest man Billy is. It's fine calling Lescott a Judas, a turd, etc. But the fact remains Citeh are showing ambition, Everton are going backwards. Don't get me wrong, Lescott is a greed little turd who was a risky cripple before Everton came along. He almost failed his medical, but for Moyes eagerness to sign him eventually pushed it through. He repays us by hissing off to the biggest pay cheque, I sincerely hope all the worst for him in his career! I have more respect for Rooney now as he turned down the bigger money at Newcastle to further his career at United, and after all the abuse is still a blue at heart. Lescott is the lowest of the low! But I digress, because again this inevitable sale gets Kenwright and his mis-management of the club off the hook. He will give some pittance out of the fee to sign Senderos and some freebies, and some idiots will still see him as a hero! After all the lies, lack of interest to sell the club, doomed Kirby project and generally unpleasantness, some fans still can't hear the train before it hits them. That is why we as a club will never go forward. P.s. if Moyes has got the balls, he should insist at buying Hangerland as Fulham have set the price at 15 million.
  10. I can't see Moyes blowing that on one unprovern player, oh wait Felliani!
  11. After two weeks of bargaining with Arsenal, it is ever more apparent Everton have not got a club how to do transfers in a profession manner. Arsenal want six for him, Everton offer 3 million. Arsenal say ok give us 4 million plus add-ons, Everton rigidly offer 3 million again. Get my drift? All this takes me back to Naughton, I can't help but feel Everton were partly to blame for that due to their slowness with positive action. Amazing, because when Everton need to sell they do it at record speed.
  12. Hunt is going to a club that matches his ability, HULL! Not upset in the slightest, infact happy now he won't be linked with us again.
  13. I like these two a lot, and with the inevitable departure of Lescott Huth could fill that void. Tuncay can play wide right, and I would prefer him over Osman every day of the year.
  14. Played two demo's recently, Ashes cricket and Batman Arkham Asylum. Ashes was wooden and slow, Batman got me rather excited but did remind me of a poor mans Chronicles of Riddick.
  15. Apology accepted! I also apologise for seemingly starting all of this off, it's an emotional subject which inevitably will stir deep-rooted feelings, a bit like supporting Everton! Anyway I'm glad to see (apart from one bellend) all of us can at the end of the day discuss this in an adult fashion, we all want the best for our respective people and having patience and respect for other peoples religions, countries and thinking is the greatest first step to a better co-existence! Beautifully written and heart felt intention, so I'm compelled to agree!
  16. I've been calling for him to be signed for ages, as he is a versatile player and we all know Moyes loves those type of players. Portsmouth are in turmoil, but behind closed doors our board is running around like the keystone cops. Minimum fare would be 8 mill, but maybe with Vaughan thrown in a deal could be struck!
  17. That is factually incorrect Britain boasts the best trained soldiers, go and check it up. I rarely get involved in politics as it causes too much emotion and radical views (check the quote below), but I agree the West should never tell others about moral values. http://www.timesonline.co.uk/tol/news/politics/article6684326.ece Oh dear, seems like you are the one who is naive and deceived by nationalism. The Iraq and Afgan wars are a direct result of western greed: http://www.bloggingstocks.com/2009/07/05/the-iraq-war-was-fought-for-oil-now-we-have-none-of-it/ It's truly sad that quite a few people like yourself are sucked into the 'us vs them' syndrome, when you truly have no idea about the other side of the coin. Yes our soldiers are brave, but we got involved in a war which broke Geneva laws in 2002, which came to haunt us in 2005. So you saying we went to war to protect our interests is bollocks! And by your comments it seems your having a poke at Islam? I see children executing children around Liverpool suburbs, men raping women and getting away with it because they have a high position like police chiefs or Judges, etc all in Britain so that point of yours is totally baseless! What they do in there lands is entirely up to them as it works for them, it is none of our business. If we go there then we obey the laws of the land, and likewise for them here. As for being free over here to say what we want, think Robin Cook, Dr David Kelly, Sir Trevor Philips, David Davies and countless others will disagree with you. Back to topic, I know squaddies who are proud to be British but are pissed off how they were treated in combat and then to come home to virtually no benefits from the government. That's the reality, I couldn't care less about nationalism only the truth concerns me. Anyway as I feel this will develop into a post war, I will not reply again on this thread but you get my gist.
  18. I'm talking about after their respective careers ended. Ferguson is very active in and around Everton, Gray couldn't even be bothered to stay for Kendall (the man who brought him) testimonial. That's the spirit.
  19. The thing is, if men went to the moon 40 years ago then they should be going a lot more regularly now that technology is ten times more advanced? I say it smells like US bullshite!
  20. They shouldn't be out there anyway, if our government feels so strongly about invading other countries when they can't even look after it's own, they should send their own children and family to fight. The wars are based on nothing but greed, our soldiers are ill prepared and ill equipped and really can't understand the cause they have been sent for. I pray for peace for those innocent members caught up in any conflict, but those (including our soldiers) who commit crimes like needless murder or rape, deserves the harshest of justice! Which goes for Bush/Blair/Pinochet etc.
