  1. Nah, that's powder puff compared to Big Dunc.
  2. Poor, poor display yet again. Firstly where the hell is Saha? Second our player of the pre-season Jo is injured, don't know how long for. Thirdly why play Felliani when the guy is supposed to be ill? Lastly again Moyes didn't use the opportunity of blooding the kids first and give the first team players a break. My abiding memory of tonight is seeing Moyes face, totally dejected after the final whistle. Whilst looking at Billy face just before the whistle, he was smiling to the cows come home. That is the difference!
  3. Speaking of Naughton, apparently Spurs want Bassong from Newcastle, yes ANOTHER right-back. Think Moyes should take this opportunity to shaft Spurs and bring Bassong over here, he is a very promising player.
  4. Since you won't answer my questions, I'll answer yours: Bent Cana Naughton Crouch
  5. Don't worry MikeO, you can still take your ball home after we're finished lol.
  6. How many games did Gosling play in the first team last year? I remember the lads screaming at Wembley to get him on for the useless Osman, 80 minutes gone then Gosling makes an appearance. Hardly trusting the young talent is that. Rodwell was the only one to get a regular look in and has benefited enormously because of that, Wallace, Baxter and Agard never saw more than eleven minutes of first team action combined. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/S%C3%A9amus_Coleman You're right, he is 20. Even better for us.
  7. Interesting. Ok, when Jagielka comes back along with Arteta and Yakubu we all agree it will take time before they're back to their best. Agreed? So in the mean-while we currently haven't the squad to compete against the teams on equal or higher footing, whilst teams like Citeh and Spurs have improved their squads far more than us. You forget last season turning point was getting knocked out of Europe, before performances were abysmal (Blackburn and Portsmouth at home). Personally, you're being a little to optimistic unless Billy gets his cheque book out. Sorry, must remember to write things that may happen in real life!
  8. I really can't understand the flack players like Felliani, Jo and Yakubu still get to this day. Without all their goals and good play, we would have been up shites creek a long while ago. Felliani can be very frustrating to watch at times, but his play/goals against United and Bolton helped Everton achieve relative success last season. Player's who should be blasted are Osman and Hibbert, I would have said Neville as well but he has responded excellently since Carsley left.
  9. Back to Everton transfer policy, even now with Senderos it's taking an age to official sign the player. Even though I don't want him and Everton are blatantly lying he isn't a replacement for Lescott, it is beyond a joke our transfer out take weeks to complete. Villa have agreed two deals (Downing/Delph), within three days. Our world class fans deserve much better than this!
  10. No there isn't any unless we sell Lescott, sorry to disappoint you.
  11. http://www.dailyexpress.co.uk/posts/view/118130/Moyes-refuses-to-let-Lescott-leave/ It's going off!
  12. Just out of pure self promoting here is my top ten favourite games of all time: 10 - Donkey Kong Country - SNES 9 - Mario Kart - N64 8 - Burnout Revenge - Xbox 7 - Mario Galaxy - Wii 6 - Devil May Cry 3 - PS2 5 - Grand Theft Auto/Vice City - PS2 4 - ISS Pro Evolution - PS1 3 - Half Life 2 - Xbox 2 - Resident Evil 4 - PS2 1 - Golden Eye - N64 Games like Bully, Gears of War, and Ninja Gaiden narrowly miss out, of course this is all my opinion so feel free to comment.
  13. Some (including myself) say that one of Moyes failings has been the lack of opportunities given to the youth. Ok we can't expect a youth player to perform well for 38 games, but Coleman is 22 and looks the business - well far better than Hibbert anyway. And because we can't afford to buy a pot to hiss in it's all hands to the pump, give him a go I say!
  14. Desperate times call for desperate measures, but please for the love of mercy not those two!
  15. I have no idea what your post was on about, but to answer your headline then no! I think top eight will be pushing it with 'Citeh', Spurs and Sunderland making good signings.
  16. http://www.timesonline.co.uk/tol/sport/football/premier_league/everton/article6737748.ece Oh dear, well at least Billy K will be happy!
  17. No, because Drenthe isn't a marquee player. I believe he is 23, so plenty yet to offer at the right club.
  18. Rodwell will be our current day Peter Reid, but I think he would not be any good at center back, not by today's performance anyway.
  19. Ok fair cop. But while the players you mentioned were diamonds in the rough, I've had Arsenal fans laughing at me because Senderous may face them on the opening day. I've been wrong plenty of times, let's hope Senderous if he does come can prove me wrong once again.
