  1. http://followeverton.com/2009/08/14/exclusive-steven-taylor-to-have-blues-medical-on-monday/ Medical, on Monday. Think it's bullshite but you never know.
  2. Exactly, but we are all gullible as we all pray for new exciting players each pre-season. But the board know that and will always pray on that, a bit like the government.
  3. Won't hold my breath, considering at the start of the summer they said we wouldn't have another summer like last year. Oh dear!
  4. I remember bidding for Ramsey last season 5mill, which we then proceeded to sell AJ then brought Felliani on the 11th hour. To me, it doesn't seem right.
  5. First DM, calm down ffs! Second can you provide me evidence there IS money to spend, because Kenwright himself said many times he has no more cash to plough in. Everton like most teams either rely on loans or sky money to finance deals, and because on/off the pitch there isn't much money coming into the club like a United or Arsenal then most extra cash gets sucked into the debts. Whether you like it or not (I know how you feel as I'm equally pissed about it) the club hasn't buttons to spend. You talked about finding the right player, even when we did like for Naughton part of the delay was us actually getting a loan together. It isn't easy when there isn't much to loan against except the sky money, that's the reality. We currently are still paying off part of the Felliani deal this year, so it isn't as easy as people DM or the village idiot thinks. Anyway if you don't believe a word I said, please read: http://www.sport.co.uk/news/Football/25122/No_place_to_hide_in_credit_league_as_Merseyside_clubs_enjoy_differing_fortunes_.aspx
  6. If Everton flash the cash, Taylor will sign. It's whether we have the cash is the problem.
  7. http://www.liverpoolecho.co.uk/everton-fc/everton-fc-news/2009/08/14/video-joleon-lescott-has-had-his-head-twisted-by-manchester-city-everton-boss-david-moyes-100252-24443853/ Moyes has earned a lot of dignity during this saga, Hughes is a gobshite who will flat on his face.
  8. And where would he play? He isn't a wide player but can fill out there, so can't see it happening.
  9. After his disrespect towards the club? You must be joking!
  10. I totally agree, but he will fall flat on his face and I pray I'm around to see it.
  11. How naive! Moyes gets too much praise for this one, he can't pay because he hasn't the money to get close to a valuation. As usual names are discussed and thrown at the media to suppress anger and annoyance amongst the fans, the reality is unless Kenwright can convince Moyes to sell Lescott and stay in his job, we have NO cash to sign anybody.
  12. Sorry, Moyes is a very good manager but he doesn't have any ability other than coaching the players in front of him. Moyes has been fighting with one hand behind his back ever since he came here. Sorry but don't agree with that one bit. Any fan who wants to heckle has every right to, especially if they have paid vast amounts of cash into a club which treats them with contempt. And by heckling I mean the board, not the manager or players (apart from Lescott).
  13. Funny, can't access the link. Wouldn't hold my breath about spending, it's seems unlikely unless we sell Lescott.
  14. Exactly, hence why Lescott and Hughes would make a lovely couple! It's amazing to hear how arrogant Hughes has become regarding transfers this summer, as they say you reap what you sow so he better pray their backers don't back out. Would be even more funny if he got sacked by Christmas, very funny indeed. I just wish the saga ends with Lescott going and us getting at least four players in.
  15. If anything we should be signing Hangerland, not another underwhelming player like Senderos. Reminds me when we signed Gary Ablett, wasn't impressed then either. But unfortunately beggers can't be picky.
  16. Manure Chelski RS Arsenal Citeh Villa Us!
  17. Well if he does sign it is directly because we haven't the cash to buy quality players, after all Moyes did say he was going to get squad players and O'Neil is definitely that. But is he a better right-back than Hibbert? Any doubtingly yes, plus Moyes gets off with versatile players so can see this one happening. Imagine Hibbert and O'Neil, in for a injured Osman on the right flank? Hold on a sec..................... Nooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo! Much better!
  18. I was debating between TMNT and Space Harrier, but Harrier won it as it still holds special memory's. Double Dragon was too naff, Streets of Rage was much better.
  19. http://www.wsag.org/2009/08/gary-oneils-eyes/ Hilarious!
  20. Speaking of Doom, let me present (again for self vanity) my arcade top games games of all time. Arcade games meaning games that came to the arcades long before consoles were invented: 10 - Afterburner (still remember that giant chair) 9 - Marvel vs Capcom 8 - Ikaruga (many coins were lost in that machine) 7 - Altered Beast 6 - Outrun 5 - Time Crisis 4 - World Cup '90 (got to the semi final, so close on one credit) 3 - Space Harrier 2 - Soul Calibur 1 - Street Fighter 2 New Zealand story narrowly misses out, was a favourite on my C64 though!
  21. Heard somethi8ng about Petrov (check Lescott thread), as for Kjancar then I feel with the Lescott cash we could nab him for 4 million as he has only a year left on his contract?
  22. I just heard a rumour that Petrov may also be included in a deal for Lescott, has anybody else heard this?
  23. No attitude, I was generally asking as it seemed bizarre he would know a lot about somebody we never of until this week. As Craccer and Jamie said he is the business, I fear we won't get him! As for Everton_worshipper, carry on being a bell-end as what goes around comes around my friend.
