  1. I'll sell him for 4 million. After his last injury he hasn't looked anywhere near his best, and I fear will never again. Potential is only good if one fulfills it, and Vaughan is still yet to prove himself.
  2. Sorry but who would we realistically get for 8 million who is on Saha level? Firstly Moyes wouldn't get all of the money to invest into a player, and selling him would send all the wrong signals especially to Lescott. Saha is quality, and should get a new deal. We need the better players to remain at the club, no point selling just for the sake of it when numbers are very low squad wise anyhow.
  3. Maybe not, but for the time he arrived until he retired he was a vital team member, if not for his goals then for his inspiration to the club. Saying Gray was better than Ferguson is an insult, I rate big Dunc along with Bob Latchford. Gray was/is a self-gloried braggart, who just like Ferguson arrived at the right time. However, unlike Ferguson Gray hasn't repaid the club that saved his career.
  4. Cattlemole is an over-hyped thug so he would do well with Gerrard, Scharner (currently on a free) interests me more as he operates either defence or midfield.
  5. NEWSFLASH: Everton fans forget that he couldn't sign because he didn't play enough games for his country, checking his stats that still remains the case. So forget him coming to the Premiership period, it will not happen. Just more lazy journalism, rewarming stories from last year. Oh yeah, have we been linked with Joaquin yet? If so that is for fourth season running, and can't remember a bid for him ...... getting a bit hazy in cloud coo coo land!
  6. There's something shite, but it isn't big Dunc! I wonder then, is Andy Gray an Everton legend to you?
  7. Exactly! I think it's about like Father Christmas or the lottery, they know it will never happen craigb but they hold on to that dream like slappers around a Premiership striker.
  8. With Everton lack of finance, may as well retire the shirt to save face.
  9. Sounds about right, although we are on the verge of signing three new players according to the press office at Goodison: Yakubu, Jageilka and Arteta. Very depressing summer!
  10. Oh my word, I seriously hope not. Come in Senderos, all is forgiven!
  11. Why is it you can't accept that fact that it;s constructive criticism towards the club, but because you not willing to understand that you deem it as moaning? Anyway that's up to you, I'm off!
  12. You should never assume, didn't you hear Mr Bricktop say to his underling it could get him into a lot of trouble thinking? So no, I don't want Everton to buy Senderos, let alone spend 6 big ones on him. However, the point still stands about Everton painfully slow reactions when it comes to inbound transfers. Noticed you still haven't answered the question I posed to you in my previous post?
  13. Lol, sorry too far fetched to me. Sounds like YOU want him to leave, and made that up just to get rumours going lol.
  14. Give a man enough rope, and inevitably he will hang himself. Where did I say that Everton should sign him for 6 mill for the sake of it? Pay attention in class sonny.
  15. Mate, you're in cloud coo-coo land! Patience is what us fans have had for the last twelve years, Senderos is over-priced and personally I think we can do a lot better. BUT the point I made is about Everton inability to make transfers into simple matters, not the sagas they always turn out to be. Question for you then, why is it when a big players leaves Everton it is completed in a matter of days not weeks? When you find the answer, then you'll find the real problem behind Everton football club. Every paying fan has a right to moan about an situation which is inexcusable, even Hull have completed signings so I have every right to be annoyed! Moyes and Elstone both said there will not be a repeat of last summer this summer..................? Get my drift?
  16. Everton are truly the most inept organisation on Earth when it comes to transfers. On the weekend he was virtually signed, now it's in the balance due to Everton being tight as you pointed out. I remember Martin Samuelson saying Everton are the laughing stock of the Premiership when it came to transfers: i.e. if club A had a player for 5 million, club B would bid four, Everton would bid 2 million plus add ons. Yes Samuelson is a red, but there has to be truth in that as look what's happened again this summer. This cant continue, Everton can not keep breaking promises and breaking our hopes and footballing ambitions! IT MUST STOP, NOW!
  17. Wash your mouth out with soap lad, Big Dunc is am icon!
  18. Depends how one looks at it. On one hand many of the players who left the club have slated him, ala Der Meyde/Rooney/Koldrup etc. But with exception of Rooney, the others weren't first team regulars. Personally I think Moyes is pretty hardline, but the players if successful seem not to bothered by it. If things go wrong again, then I'll worry.
  19. A quote from the Guardian newspaper: 'Shearer would very much like to keep the Senegal right-back.' End quote.
