  1. According to the Sun, Wenger made enquiries about BOTH Arteta and Felli yesterday.
  2. Im afraid that Louis is correct. Swedes are not known for their sense of humour. We do however have a sense of irony on which 98% of our humour is based.
  3. damned right, we should not have been given more credit - I agree, but if a loan solves another loan at the same amount of interest or lower its interesting to look at that option. I have a large morgage. I dont want to loan more money, but I would however be interested in finding a bank that is willing to take over my morgage at a lower interest. These things happen every day. Even in large corporations and even Nations. The interest alone on the US dept is over 90% of their GNP. Doesnt mean that they should not loan more. A new loan could streanghten the dollar. There are lots of positive effects that could take place. Somewhat off topic now but im justifying my claim that the BU has hurt the club. I still think that the BU has a noble cause, and im happier with knowing the truth. I am also more relaxed about us not signing anyone, because I know the reasons behind out lack of signings. But there are now other aspects and Everton are in real danger of becoming a selling club. With no new signings coming in it is a dangerous situation.
  4. "It is somewhat sad that Everton chooses to employ the same old tired tactics. Ultimately this does nothing to enhance the clubs image, their relationship with their fans, nor their reputation with the media." Great BU, and you have really improved the clubs image in the media? This is NOT about getting the board sacked and held responsible anymore. This is much bigger. Its about the club and its survival. You cannot argue the fact that the club has been hurt by this. Not with a simple fact like Spurs bid for Neville. Neville is not worth more on the market, however he is worth much more to us. If I have a shitty car, it might be worth £1000 but if I need that car to get to work every day it might be worth £50 000 per year to me. That doesnt mean that Spurs want to buy my car for £50 000. All of this, nobel cause or not, has hit the club hard. We wont get any bids for out players at the correct evaluation. We will have to accept "ok" bids for our star players. We will not be given more credit. No-one wants to get involved, we will not find a buyer until we clear debt.
  5. Is this a rumour or speculation? Not going to happen. He might come for Jags, he might even come for Arteta. He isnt coming for Cahill, Heitinga or Distin. Remember that none of the above mentioned players fit Arsenals sign tactics. They are all too old.
  6. Remember that we played quite well last season (apart from a few disgraceful performances) and got 3 wins in 17 starts. keep these stats up and we will have 3 wins in 6 games. Its all about the points in the end. I agree, not celebrating a goal sounds weird. Deserved or not.
  7. Haha i only saw the first half. Had promised my wife and baby daughter a restaurant visit and missed the second half. Seems like alot happened. 3 pens!?! And one for Everton? This early in the season? Ok not deserved by your accounts but id rather take 3 points and shit play over good play and no points... Any day.
  8. We shouldnt drop Jags, if he puts in one good performance an offer higher that 5 quid might appear from Obsene Wenger
  9. I would also have the others ahead of Arteta. Xavi Iniesta Fabregas Alonso Perhaps Arteta, not even sure if he would be 5th choice. But hey, Arteta is still an extreemly good player. Even if he is 5th choice...... Its spain ffs. European champions, World champions, highest ranking team in the world. (which is not always the same as the world champions) Im sure he will get more eyes on him if he played in a better team than Everton. However I dont think it will help him to get into the spanish team.
  10. Or does Sturridge tickle you in your box?
  11. Hm, Something for Everton to ponder, contact Gaddafi and help him hide some of Libyas funds by investing it into the club. A loan of a billion is enough for now. 0 interest of course.
  12. Sturridge in frame for Everton loan 05:00 PM 25 August, 2011 Everton Football Club have asked to be kept informed should Daniel Sturridge become available. The 22-year-old is rated as one of the most exciting young strikers in the Premier League, as he proved last season when he enjoyed a loan spell at Bolton Wanderers. Sturridge is now back at Chelsea and determined to win a place in Andre Villas-Boas’ side, but competition is fierce especially since the arrival of Romelu Lukaku. The Blues could be willing to loan him out again this season, and it is believed Toffees boss David Moyes has already asked to be kept informed of the situation. Get all the latest news on your club. 13. Well im not laughing, these are not happy tears.
  14. Takes a bit longer for news to reach us here in the swedish dark forrests
  15. Agreed, infact I hold these two as better than Jags so I feel that these two should be first option. However they do need to play more games together to sync properly.
  16. Currently having a medical at undisclosed club according to himself on twitter. Has not been offered a new contract and has made his mind up. I think he is off to QPR
  17. Do I agree with Hafnia? Should Bill know exactly where the money has gone? My answer is yes, he should know. He might not be part of the day to day running of the club, but he is very much involved in the selling of the club, and to be able to sell something, you have to know your product. Simple as that. Do I agree with Avinalaff and Halewoodblue? Is it Bills fault? The answer is yes, I agree with them because its NOT Bills fault. He has given DM as much as possible. I do however think that we have bitten off more than we can chew.
  18. Fellaini cost us £15m, worth every penny in my books but you cant call him cheap
  19. Yes i do think he can hack it in the prem, but not as a lone striker. Next to becks he could be really dangerous.
  20. quite a few mentions of Olsson from their fans. Ive always rated Olsson, as a winger. As a defender he is pretty w*nk to be honest. But who could take advantage of that? Should we play Osman on the right this time? I want Barkley to play in the middle. Saha should obviously be up front for this one. Seems to be a bit of a charm vs Rovers. Its going to be a tight game. I think we will win it tho. 0-1 Saha.
  21. According to the article Arsenal are planning a £28m bid, why should we then accept 25? Id take the £28m to be honest. These two players are not unreplacable. Much better option then selling Felli and Baines. According to the Daily Mail, Everton are replacing Jagielka with Liam Ridgewell if this deal comes off.
  22. Its also about cutting the wage bill and bringing some financial stability to the club to make it more take over friendly. I think we would see a take over bid within a year if we manager to show some good figurer at the end of the season.
  23. Perhaps Emir Bajrami of twente? Swedish international, plays on the left wing in the national team, but on the right wing for twente. Nice goal last weekend. http://www.betscout.com/highlights/play/1028496/24203 Some skills
