If only we had the investment and this wasnt a concern. But we dont have and unfortunately its a legitimate one. There is a perfect phrase in the title of that article; 'rough diamond'. Like any diamond, you invest in its potential without knowing its true value in advance. Potentially you can make a loss on your investment, but if it shines up well.... Then you hit the lottery. Its not that im not ok with it, just always seems to be another team other than Everton. Just find it strange. I may not always have an Everton related avatar, but I never put another teams in there.

from 7th to 2nd, losing the title with 1-2 games to go, is a huge improvement and worth celebrating in my opinion. Besides, "nearly" is the only excuse they're going to have!

To be honest, despite my initial disappointment with this being the best of the 3 "efforts" the club managed to pull from their collective asses, its grown on me. Better than this seasons, but then again, that wasnt hard to beat....
