  1. It's also 1-2m clips out of 90+ (Levante game was an exception, as they were inept and invited trouble) Ive always hated it, since 2008 Euros. Football is more than just lots of little passes and the occasional goal. I enjoy the physical contest, the individual battles, mazy runs. Tiki taki takes all of that away from the game in my opinion
  2. still 14m short in my opinion, only say 40m because i reckon that would be the turning point. edit: Moyes being an absolute dick in his interview. Moaning about pens (was never a pen against Lampard).
  3. I mustve missed that then. Baines is now 1/3 on SkyBet to go so who knows. Maybe Davie is having palpitations at the thought of parting with 40m (which would be a reasonably respectful bid) ...
  4. we want a post along the lines of "welcome to the forum, hope you enjoy it here" in the introduction threads. Dream on, Bill
  5. i'll clarify my definition of tiki taki - pointless passing to bore the opposition to death...
  6. think Joses tactics meant it was only ever only going to be 0-0

    Stevenage (CoC)

dont get all this "put a strong team out". Not meaning to disrespect to Stevenage, but seriously, our reserves should be able to take them
  8. Terry was MOTM?! Fuck me... amazingly, im not ready for bed time for a bourbon to send me off
  9. Cole asking for a card if the ref didnt think it was a pen. Id have given a card for the dive....
  10. thought Felli did come deep quite a few times, though mainly to defend. But even when he was looking to bring it out from the back, he went wide.
  11. surely there wouldve been something from Whelan already if there was anything in it.

  13. Seems were both right : http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Andr%C3%A9_Sch%C3%BCrrle Rooney involved in all of Utds play so far.
  14. to be honest, every game is a huge game and should be treated as such.
  15. yeah. actually agree with Shearer (I checked outside, the world isnt coming to an end): LINE-UPS - Man Utd v Chelsea (2000 BST) Man Utd: De Gea, Jones, Ferdinand, Vidic, Evra, Valencia, Cleverley, Carrick, Welbeck, Rooney, van Persie. Subs: Anderson, Giggs, Smalling, Lindegaard, Young, Kagawa, Buttner. Chelsea: Cech, Ivanovic, Cahill, Terry, Cole, Ramires, Lampard, De Bruyne, Oscar, Hazard, Schurrle. Subs: Essien, Torres, Mikel, Lukaku, Schwarzer, Azpilicueta, Mata. Referee: Martin Atkinson (W Yorkshire)
  16. he took a pay day, simple as. A move to improve his career? no chance, though it could be argued he'd be playing with some world class players (more than we have at least) and potentially challenging for silverware.
  17. Rooney apparently in the starting 11 against Chelsea.
