  1. i bought some peugeot alloys for my car for £350 a couple of months ago, a glasonbury ticket for £190, sold a couple of upgrade mobiles for £200 each!
  2. Im not sure which option I support. In an ideal world, as Im sure all would agree, to develop Goodison is the perfect answer, but that doesnt seem viable. I would like the club to stay within city boundries but, being from London, I am not as directly affected as most of u by it not being and wouldnt put it at the top of my wanted list. Kirkby seems the way Im leaning, if the cost is largely met by Tesco and its only 4 miles from Goodsion and 1 mile from the city boundries. What would the local facilites be like around there, are there pubs to drink in before the game close by or is it far from anything?

    Airlines

A guy sitting at a bar at Heathrow Terminal 3 noticed a really beautiful woman sitting next to him. He thought to himself: Wow, she's so gorgeous she must be an off duty flight attendant. But which airline does she work for? Hoping to pick her up, he leaned towards her and uttered the Delta slogan: "Love to fly and it shows?" She gave him a blank, confused stare and he immediately thought to himself: "Damn, she doesn't work for Delta." A moment later, another slogan popped into his head. He leaned towards her again, "Something special in the air?" She gave him the same confused look. He mentally kicked himself, and scratched Singapore Airlines off the list. Next he tried the Thai Airways slogan: "Smooth as silk?" This time the woman turned on him, "What the f*** do you want?" The man smiled, then slumped back in his chair and said "Ahhhhh, Ryanair!!!"
  4. think they may have egg on their face cos if utd have won it by then there wont be much interest in it at all. at least in april they would defnitely have a chance of catching up. maybe thats why they put our last game against chelsea, thinking it would be a title decider and all!
  5. its a squad game nowadaysa and Southgate was using his squad, thats what its there for. He can pick which ever players he likes for which ever game he likes. Shut up Warnock, I think the man is alright, quite funny, but this time he is wrong
  6. Louis Since you posted Quidco a few months ago I have made over £500 and it hasnt taken much time, maybe 2-3 hours in total at most. When I tell ppl this and explain how it works they think it is some sort of scam and nobody I know has even tried it which I find amazing, its free money! It is true, you can make a lot of money for mucking about on a PC for an hour or so! Anyway, cheers for the recomendation as I dont think I said that before.
  7. plus 6m for nugent and 10 for wright phillips, and a left back............. we havent got that sort of cash, investment please someone
  8. This does sound like a good deal in principle, big company and all and it seems that at the beginning we would save £££ on interest payments. But surely one of our main aims is to clear this debt and if the deal is long term IE until we get relegated, in 5 years time when the debt is down to say £500k a year interest payments we would be losing £1.5m a year compared to the Chang deal! I say take cash, leave the repayments separate...unless they are giving us an unlimited overdraft and waving the interest...until we go down...in other words never (i hope)
  9. lol, so which one did u do first?
  10. Barton is a quality player who would fit v well into our midfield, hes an everton fan and a realistic target. i for one dont really care about his arse or his cigars, he shows more passion for man city than most of their players, he would be even more passionate if he played for the team he loves. As someone said, hes the type u hate if on the oppo but love if hes on your team
  11. 1-0 to us whether henry plays or not, although Im glad hes not! Osman to get the goal

    Tit Monday

Ah, Tit Monday. It's not that far off now, that glorious day when, heading into work on the bus, or walking to the Dart, or sitting on the train, you find yourself suddenly chirpier than you have been in months. You find yourself smiling at strangers again. There is a mild involuntary tumescence in your trousers that comes and goes throughout the morning with the comforting regularity of a heartbeat. And then you get a text around lunchtime from a mate which says: "At last, Tit Monday!" And you instantly understand why you are so happy. For Tit Monday is that special day in the year when, for the first time, the temperature rises above that magical point which causes girls getting dressed in the morning to decide to show a bit of skin. After months of dull colours and chunky knit, the world's birds suddenly dive into last summer's wardrobe (they've not had chance to buy this season's stuff) and chuck it on without a thought. Your urban landscape is suddenly lightened with acres of naked arm and leg and, after many dark months of burrowing, breasts rising to the surface like moles at dusk. Big breasts in white work shirts straining at the buttons. Small breasts braless in vest tops, the nipples frotted by ribby fabrics. Breasts in summer dresses bouncing in the distance so that they catch your eye before you even notice there is someone wearing them. Breasts nudging out from the crowd at traffic islands, quivering to cross the road... And you know it is nearly summer. For previous generations, the arrival of spring was heralded by the sound of the first cuckoo. For us, it is Tit Monday. Not that it always falls on a Monday. Like Easter, Tit Monday is a moveable feast. Last year it fell on a Friday. Friday 29 April, to be precise, when temperatures maxed out at 22.1C after nothing much above 16C all year. It last fell on a Monday in 2004, when temperatures leapt to 22C on 24 April. And then, of course, there is Tit Monday Night. You see, in early summer, temperatures drop off very dramatically when night falls (Tit Friday 2005 dropped away to a parky 11.8C). But the dollies are not prepared. Slightly stunned by the morning heat, they drag out the summer clothes but forget to bring a cardie (a mistake they will not make again until next year), so that when they're all standing outside All Bar One after work celebrating the arrival of spring, their barely covered nipples have no protection from the cold. It's like a Bring-and-Buy sale where everyone has brought hat pegs. It's like a prog-rock gig where, instead of lighters, everyone is holding up nipples. So when will Tit Monday fall this year? Will you be the first to text your mates with the announcement? Do not shoot your bolt too early. There will be false starts. You will smell fresh cut grass and see a couple of early starters and feel compelled to declare Tit Monday. But your more level-headed friends will tell you to hold your horses, keep your powder dry, don't fire until you see the whites of their bra straps As the poet said: one bold Northern slapper in a bikini doth not a summer make.
  18. disgracful that it has come to this, we shouldnt be clutching at any old thing with the window about to shut and we are short of a defender, midfileder and striker but then again...for a short term fix i think this could be a good signing..perfect role model for Vicky and Vaughny to learn from and hes still got it, did u see the goal he scored the other week. gives moyes time to get the targets he really wants in close season
  19. surely he wouldnt come out an say that publicly, probly more on the lines of 'hes young and we want to bed him in gently with sub appearances'. We have to rely on big Vic now for the next few weeks at least
  20. said in the Mirror this morning that the deal is all tied up! I dont know much about him, has someone got a link to the youtube clips of him?
  21. i notice on the electronic games that are on TV that ladbrokes advertise updated inrunning prices for the score on that game. EG if man utd are 3-0 up they offer 5/2 on the score being 4-0. They cant get that sort of advertising to their target audience anywhere else and would be happy to pay for it. Sounds like a good idea to me
  22. History Lesson Have a history teacher explain this----- if they can. Abraham Lincoln was elected to Congress in 1846. John F. Kennedy was elected to Congress in 1946. Abraham Lincoln was elected President in 1860. John F. Kennedy was elected President in 1960. Both were particularly concerned with civil rights. Both wives lost their children while living in the White House. Both Presidents were shot on a Friday. Both Presidents were shot in the head. Now it gets really weird. Lincoln 's secretary was named Kennedy. Kennedy's Secretary was named Lincoln. Both were assassinated by Southerners. Both were succeeded by Southerners named Johnson. Andrew Johnson, who succeeded Lincoln, was born in 1808. Lyndon Johnson, who succeeded Kennedy, was born in 1908. John Wilkes Booth, who assassinated Lincoln, was born in 1839. Lee Harvey Oswald, who assassinated Kennedy, was born in 1939. Both assassins were known by their three names. Both names are composed of fifteen letters. Now hang on to your seat. Lincoln was shot at the theater named 'Ford.' Kennedy was shot in a car called ' Lincoln' made by 'Ford.' Lincoln was shot in a theater and his assassin ran and hid in a warehouse. Kennedy was shot from a warehouse and his assassin ran and hid in a theater. Booth and Oswald were assassinated before their trials. And here's the kicker... A week before Lincoln was shot, he was in Monroe, Maryland A week before Kennedy was shot, he was in Marilyn Monroe.
