  1. Rodwell isn't going to come on, Mike.
  2. Coleman with the equaliser.
  3. Baines, Arteta and Pienaar doing fine. Coleman has had a bright game so far. However it's Distin who's once again being outstanding IMO.
  4. He is a brilliant footballer however. Scored 3 in PSV's 10-0 trashing of Feyenoord. Piet De Visser, a (former?) Chelsea-scout who discovered Ronaldo and Adriano thinks he'll Brazil's number 9 in the 2014 World Cup.
  5. I think he's worth something like that. However I think Anderlecht will be looking for a bit more as his contract doesn't expire untill 30.06.2014. I think another great option for the right wing would be Mehdi Carcela. He is more of the Arjen Robben type right winger as he's left footed. No doubt Moyes will be looking into him as well. Seems like he's very fond of the Belgian market lately. However I think Carcela will be in the Steven Defour price range (and out of ours) very soon.
  6. Jonathan Legear, a 23-year-old Belgian rightwinger, has claimed to Belgian media that Everton and Newcastle are chasing him: http://www.sporza.be/cm/sporza/voetbal/Jupiler_Pro_League/101102_Legear_Engelse_interesse The article says that he once again was man of the match in the game between top teams Anderlecht and Genk. Legear himself then says David Moyes has come to watch him play with Anderlecht 3 times and that he played really well in those games and that Moyes saw him play in the international match-up between Belgium and Austria (where he was very good as well) too. Then he goes on to say that Newcastle have contacted his manager because they are thinking of him as a replacement for the injured Hatem Ben Arfa. Then he says that a transfer in the January window is a possibility, but that he doesn't want to leave at all costs, because he's still enjoying himself at Anderlecht. I think he could be a great addition to the squad. He's a natural winger. He's pacey and can get a cross in. However he is injured like once every 3 games. 7. I've went for Distin. Think he had a great game. Dealt really well with whatever Stoke tried in those last 15 minutes. Was glad to see Saha and Bily having lively appearances.
  8. Yakubu should have passed to Coleman there. Or she should have scored
  9. Baines is such a hero.
  10. Apparently: Gomes Hutton Kaboul Gallas Assou-Ekotto Palacios Modric Lennon VDVaart Bale Crouch Yakubu Cahill Pienaar Bilyaletdinov Heitinga Coleman Baines Distin Jagielka Neville Howard Or with Pienaar and Bilyaletdinov swapped.
  11. Midfield injury crisis.
  12. I must admit he impressed me against Austria and Kazachstan. And his work rate really amazed me. But still I don't think he's worth £5million (not even €5Million) of our money. Especially since arguably our best player and our only player that is comfortable on the wing is leaving for free in the summer.
  13. Yeah, he is decent. I even remember thinking he was one of our best players in the games he's played this season. Doesn't change my mind about the game though. Too many changes in the squad for my liking. Missing Fellaini will be felt as well.
  14. You're right. That looks better. But then Hibbo'll start as well. I don't have a good feeling about this.
  15. He was substituded after 80 minutes against Austria. Apparently because he asked for it. So now we get what against Liverpool? Neville Osman Arteta Bily Cahill
  16. Not even worth anywhere near 5 million of Everton's money.
  17. I think most people that are into football tactics will disagree with that statement. Footballs a game you win by scoring more goals than you concede!
  18. I didn't mean it as Moyes "restricting youth". He didn't hesitate to give Rooney, Rodwell, Vaughan, Vic... a chance. But I think Moyes is a manager that stresses a good defensive organisation (though that's nowhere to be seen this season). He refuses to play Coleman as a right back for example, prefering the much more solid Phil Neville. That's why I thaught Moyes might be reluctant to go with inexperienced defenders. It was just a thought as well. I don't know, it's possible Duffy just isn't at the level he was before his injury.
  19. Obviously, but is it down to Duffy's possible (?) lack of progress or Moyes reluctance to give young and inexperienced defenders a go.
  20. Too bad he doesn't always listen to his father. I've just read he has decided he's going to play for Germany instead of England and that "his father accepts his decision". But he's an Everton-supporter himself as well so I still got hope
