Ok, try reading past my first sentence. I'd love to have an owner as rich as Sheikh Mansour who was willing to spend $$$ on his team, but I just don't want to go crazy every transfer window.

No thanks to a Man City style takeover. I'd rather build from the ground up with young players rather than by buying 5-10 new mid aged players and spending $200m every June. While that option is preferable to what we've got now, I'd prefer something like to try building something from the ground up.

Let Fellaini go, we need money, he doesn't want to be here, besides he may not be worth as much $ in a few years when he is 26-27, and who knows how well he will do coming off of an injury.

Why do we need him? We already have 3 very solid centerbacks, and 3 semi-capable rightbacks.

There isn't anyone who is free that is better than Ba. It's too bad that we missed out on Klose (knew it was a long shot) and now Ba, who we realistically could've got. There's a saying in the U.S. , beggars can't be choosers, so Ba was about as good as we could do for free transfers... Sell Yak, Bily, Yobo, and consider selling Arteta, Heitinga and others if the right offers come in.

Why aren't we considering offloading Bily too? He has pretty much proven that he cannot play in the Premier League. Sell Mucha, Yobo, Yak, and Bily. I hope that we can find the funds for N'Zogbia and Ba, that would be a dream summer. Then we'd also have to sign a second keeper (probably a third keeper too considering Turner has left the club), but those can be cheap, free transfers, and we'll just have to wait another year to bring Howard some real competition (To be honest, I don't see why he truly needs it, he's been great for us).
