  1. Thanks. And agreed with Tonka. Wish you could add the depth of FM with the ability to play/graphics/gameplay of FIFA. That would be the perfect game. Are there leagues all over the world in FM? Would I be able to manage in Ukraine or Kuwait?
  2. Should I try Football Manager? I've always been more into the Career mode features on FIFA than the Online head to head stuff, so it seems like it would fit my likings more, but do you guys rate the game highly?
  3. Yeah, but I don't know, it just seems with Baxter he lives more of a party lifestyle. Sure a lot of the young players party some, but it seems like Baxter partys A LOT... Maybe I'm being way too judgmental, because a lot of people can balance work and partying, but some can't. Maybe Baxter isn't that much more of a partyer than the others, but he sure doesn't seem to hide it or shy away from it like some would.
  4. Now Jose has said on Twitter that he hasn't been released by Everton. Maybe just a strong chance of a move to Crystal Palace? Hopefully a fee of some sort will be paid by Palace if he does move. Strange that Fourth Official reported that he had already been released.
  5. Agreed. I think he'd do well at any mid level Championship side that likes to play and develop youngsters, Palace would be good. Agreed. Some just wont cut the musturd unfortunately. Most won't. Premier League quality players are rare. Wish we wouldve kept Baxter and Wallace for one more year though
  6. Fourth Official reporting that Jose has left Everton. Best of luck to him, shame he never fulfilled all the hype that surrounded him... He seems too much of a party animal/unfocused/not a head on his shoulders to reach his full potential anyways, but I still worry that he along with James Wallace will become decent players that we missed out on. I imagine he could play for a mid level Championship side?
  7. In America how 18 is supposed to be this big coming of age, and I'm supposed to be an adult who can actually do shit, yet I cannot drink (21 drinking age)..... Absolute bullshit, I want to be able to enjoy a nice beer (Preferably Guinness ;-) ) in a bar, pub or restaurant! I also cant stay in some hotels, go on a cruise vacation without a 21 year old in the room, cant rent a car, etc... Absolute bullshit. THATS whats grinding my gears...
  8. Looking good http://www1.skysports.com/football/news/11661/7862213/Toffees-to-land-Naismith
  9. You mean Anzhi Makhachlalalalallalalallalala?
  10. So, It appears we will be linked with any European defender who is available on a free.
  11. He doesn't want to play here. He has said he's unhappy here.
  12. Wonder if there's truth to it, and if it's scheduled for Monday or Tuesday. Just wondering as someone who hasn't followed football for 20+ years and is wanting to learn something, does a player and team agree to terms and already have a deal in place prior to the medical? So if this is true, does Naismith likely already have a deal in place, assuming he can pass the medical? Or is the medical earlier in the process before a deal is agreed?
  13. If only Galatsaray wanted him... I'd let him leave on a free to go there just as a "screw you" to Fenerbahce...
  14. I'd take him on a free. He's got decent ability, we need more wide players, and he could fill in for Baines at leftback when Bainesy gets a rest (*Fill in* not replace), and play left midfield/wing.... Most importantly, it seems he has the desire, drive, attitude, and work ethic of an Everton player. Not just any lazy mercenary can walk in and play here, Heitinga was right, you have to be a certain type of player to play here, and I think Pranjic has that.
  15. I feel like we need to somehow find a way to break even per year or at least have much lower losses per year. We'd probably need to raise more revenue and cut costs quite a bit... We need to increase attendance (Hopefully playing better football will do part of that), get on TV more, make more money of shirts (get out of this KitBag deal when possible).
  16. I think the biggest turn off is the asking price. 150 million Pounds is a ridiculous asking price for a club thats 50m in debt, is losing 10m pounds a year and needs a new stadium.
  17. A talented, fairly young winger? I'd be shitting myself if we brought him in. Hopefully it works out and he has a decent head on his shoulders. This wouldn't be on a free though, so I'm not sure I believe it.
  18. LIke Tonka said, he's been decent for the national team. He probably wouldn't be in our starting XI however.
  19. Too bad. Hopefully he'll go on to do great things. I'm not sure I like letting him go because it sounds like he's a real leader and quality guy to have in the squad. He's twenty years old and was captain at Stockport while on loan and is now going to be Tranmere's captain. Sounds like a natural leader/quality character. If he learns the strategy of football, maybe a future manager?
  20. I'd take him. Seems like a talented young player with great sell-on potential.
  21. Newcastle is a good side, West Brom at the Hawthorns is tough but winnable, and Swansea are also a decent side, but we beat them in both fixtures last year, so I expect a good showing. Oh, and Villa at Villa park isn't easy. A lot of winnable games, even though a few are tough.
  22. Coleman cost 60,000 pounds for God's sake. He won't be a world beater but he's probably good enough to be a Premier League squad player, which is incredibly for 60K. I heard Vellios only cost 50,000 , which is also incredible.
  23. Cahill would be a good sale, but I bet we'd only get 2-3 million pounds in a transfer fee... plus his salary off the wage budget.. I would be all for selling Jagielka if Distin weren't so old. I just don't trust relying on a 35 year old centerhalf to remain fit for 3+ more years, HOWEVER, if anybody can, it's Distin. Was it Saha who said Distin could play until he's 40 because he's so fit?
  24. Okay, let me cause a little bit of chaos: Would you sell Fellaini if it meant we could bring in Mandzukic, Pienaar and a few other players as well as pay off a little bit of debt?
  25. No way we can afford him unless his contract is almost up... However, if its an indicator, he ended up at Everton in a FIFA manager mode I had as another team! So maybe that's a good sign!
