  1. The stated fee for Vadis Oiajslkdgjalkdfja-Ofoe was a loan with a view to a 6m permanent move. I doubt we'll get 7m for Heitinga, but if we'd did, we'd need to replace him or find another Centerback for depth purposes (Vegard Forren?), unless we bring in Lescott on loan, which would delay the need for another Centerback for 6 months. Moyes is excellent in transfer windows, and if there are any funds available, I'm sure he'll be able to use them for the best.
  2. He needs time to heal physically and get things sorted out mentally. I'd take him on a free after next season if he performs well with LA Galaxy and rekindles his interest in football. It would be a good move in regards to creating competition, or whatever Romey is always talking about ;-)
  3. I understand where you are coming from. I hope we can at least do something in the loan market to bolster our squad in January, but the loan market doesn't provide many options.
  4. Normally, I'd agree with you. I like Vellios and think if given the opportunity and proper development, he could become a solid striker in England (Maybe in the PL, maybe with us), but frankly, we are chasing a Champions League dream, and should at least want a Europa League spot, so we need the best possible players that give us the best possibility of attaining a European spot.
  5. No way in hell this happens. I don't really like Nani, but he's a good little player and I'd take him, but I'm sure there's no truth in this rumor.
  6. We don't have the funds for him without selling first I Imagine. Plus, I wonder if he's too lightweight for the PL.
  7. Unbelievable. We NEED to play a better game and finish better or else we'll lose away to Stoke and West Ham. Those are not easy fixtures and are tough grounds to play at.
  8. I'd take him on a loan. Would give us depth on the wings and a better option off the bench than anything we have. Besides, I'm starting to worry about Mirallas' health, he's had a bad run here.
  9. I don't see Donovan going anywhere on loan. Needs a break from football and is even considering retirement. I think he wants to sort things out in his life and find happiness or something along those lines (Seems emotionally depressed to be honest)... If he did go on loan, I doubt he'd go anywhere but here, and he's said that he wouldn't really want to go on loan to England anywhere but here. Not sure how I feel about Cahill, and whether both sides want to make a loan happen, and I'm not sure if he'd consider going on loan elsewhere.
  10. I highly doubt we'd get offered 40 million, much less 60 million, but if we did get offered 50+, it would be too good of an offer to turn down.
  11. This is a very important match. Spurs is one of our direct competitors for the 4th or 5th place. Getting 3 points (or a minimum of 1) is vital.

    Man City

I'd probably take a draw out of this one. City at Etihad is incredibly difficult... If we had managed to get 3 out of the likes of QPR, Reading, and Norwich I'd feel much better about this match (especially if we lose or draw).

    Arsenal

If we win, it would give us momentum, BUT, as long as I've been watching Everton (coming on 3 years now), I don't think we've managed to get a single point off of Arsenal.
  14. We need Gibson back, we need Felli, Pienaar and Mirallas healthy (for creativity and to help Jelavic), and we need to tighten up at back. In perspective, being this high after 13 matches is great, however lately we have been dropping points to the likes of Wigan, QPR, Reading, and Norwich, which we should pick up 3 points against sides like these. We still have to play Man City twice, Arsenal twice, Spurs twice, Man U at Old Trafford, and Chelsea twice.... No easy task.

    Norwich

Unbelievable. This isn't the Champions League caliber Everton I've seen, they've played like a peddling midtable side lately.

    Norwich

Something has to change.... We need 3 points from teams like this. It will be tough, they managed a draw against us in both fixtures last season.

    Reading

Unbelievable. How are we not getting results against inferior sides over the past month to month and a half. We should've piled up so many points over the past month, but we've drawn with teams we should've beat, and now we've lost to the lowest team on the table.

    Reading

If we are the Champions League contenders we say we are, then 3 points is a must.
  19. Weren't we linked to a swap with him and Saha a few years ago when he was at Monaco?
  20. This is disgraceful. This team has managed to give up points over the past month. Champions League and Europa league teams don't give away points like we do.
  21. I'm disappointed with a point. We've been in decent form, Liverpool in poor form, it was at Goodison, and they had a young and inexperienced side out. We should've found a way to get 3 from that.
  22. STUPID from Jagielka. Unbelievable.
  23. Oh no.... Great. Mirallas was our best player in the first half.
  24. Unbelievable from Neville... Seriously, get him off the pitch.
