  1. Just wondering, what are these regulations?
  2. I'm sure this is probably just another rumor that will never come close to coming true, but if we were to theoretically be bought out by big foreign money, I wouldn't want to end up like Man City. Of course I'd like to upgrade the squad and buy some better players, but what Man City is doing is over the top, and I don't want to see Everton become a club that just ships in and ships out expensive players like used car dealers.
  3. That'd be a good idea too, but the bottom line is, it would be foolish just to let Pienaar go for nothing. Let's face it, he's not coming back, and we should look to get something for him and sacrifice and extra 5 months of his play.
  4. Was Gueye used as a Striker in the Preseason friendlies? He's listed as a Striker/Wingers, so I'm not sure. Maybe it's time we give him the chance to play with the big boys. Is he ready? Probably not, but it wouldn't hurt to give him a chance, and he can't be worse than that lump of shit with a pulse (Louis Saha). The Yak needs to become more consistent and prove that he can be productive on a regular basis, rather than 1-2 times for every 10 appearances. I think Beckford will continue to get better, but let's face it, it's not like he's ever going to be a top-class striker. I think we need to get Donovan again on loan in order to spark some creativity in the mid field. Also, I think we need to find a cheap, short term Striker who could potentially produce for us. It doesn't have to be anyone who will be with the club for an overly long time, or someone spectacular, but someone who could score some goals for us during the second half of next season and could possibly continue with us for a little while longer. Finally, I have a question, I'm not overly familiar with the situation, but could we sell Pienaar in January? Let's face it, he will leave the club either way, and if we could make even a few million off of selling him, it would be worth it compared to an extra 5 months with us. We could really use a few million pounds for many purposes, whether it means buying a player, or paying some of the bills.
  5. He needs to get things turned around quickly or else we need to sell him. I doubt he's worth anything though, maybe a North Korean Club would be interested.
  6. What the hell Phil? And What the Hell? Anelka flat out runs through Tim Howard and it's Tim's fault? Ref must've not had a good view.
  7. how much is Stevie G worth .... Kidding of course.
  8. Everton's fault 100%. We should've bound him by writing, Gosling can't be blamed, he wasn't bound by contract, he got an offer that will give him more money (Maybe) and definitely more playing time. I wish him the best of luck.
  9. I would take that in a heartbeat... As long as Bellamy behaved himself, which is in question...
  10. Bily- He needs to prove his worth all that money we spent on him. He was impressive towards the end of last year and I think he will continue to get better this year. His success is greatly important, as I think he can pressure Pienaar to make up his mind about signing a new contract. If Bily proves himself, Pienaar will not be able to play games with us like he has. Yakubu- I think Yakubu needs to perform better this year, and if he cannot get into form, he knows that he could be sold. If Beckford plays well, it will really put pressure on the Yak to perform. Beckford- he needs to prove himself. If he does, he will pressure Yakubu and Anichebe to perform. Vaughan- James needs to stay healthy and perform when he gets the opportunity, because right now, this year will make or break his career. If he doesn't perform, he will be sold to a club that plays in a lower level league, and won't be in a position to make a name for himself. If he does extremely well, he can get more time at Everton or sign with a top-level club.
  11. I agree with a few of the people above, it's time we sell either Pienaar or Arteta. Donovan is a better player on the pitch, and brings more revenue off the pitch, so if we sold either Arteta or Pienaar, I imagine we could afford to buy Donovan. Maybe we should look back into selling Yakubu, or Anichebe (Anichebe wouldn't bring in enough revenue to buy Donovan though)... What about Sylvain Distin? Do we really need him? I see a few players that we could offload in order to buy Donovan, but I doubt Moyes is willing to do that.
  12. We gave up two goals to Ghana the same way we gave up the goal to England. Mistakes leading to a fast break goal. Oh well, we probably could've gone to the Quarterfinals, and who knows, maybe even the Semi's, but it doesn't really matter now. We'll give em hell in 2014. I wish I could say we'd be good enough to win it in 2022 when the US is the probable host, but I don't think we will be good enough to win it all by then.
  13. I really hope Landon comes back, he was a huge asset to us last year, and I'm sick of Man City buying every footballer with a pulse (And some without).
  14. I wonder how they will fair in the Championship this year. Have they sold any players yet?
  15. Sorry you are right, I'm still getting used to having Beckford and Silva
  16. I know this seems crazy, but he was clearly the star of North korea when they played Brazil. I wonder if he could play SOMEWHERE in Europe. http://www.tribalfootball.com/north-korea-striker-jong-tae-se-interesting-blackburn-914921
  17. We ought to try to sell him if he plays well at Leicester. I mean, Moyes favors Anichebe, so why should we keeper our #4 striker when we could sell him for money that we could use on other players that might actually play.
  18. Figures. Southampton is jealous because they won't even be in the Championship next year!
  19. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Portsmouth_F.C.#Administration.2C_relegation_and_extinction:_2008.E2.80.932010 Extinction? Wow, that is a bit of an inaccurate title, or at least a bit too early to say that.
  20. It's too bad we got off to such a slow start, and too bad we've let a few go here this Spring.

    Fulham (home)

Bily starting, no Saha, interesting lineup. Let's go boys.
  22. I really hope Moyes stays , David has done an astonishing job here at Everton, and maybe if we could give him a better wage budget, we would be contenders for the Premier League title (That would require a very wealthy, new owner).
  23. Why does this keep happening!!!!!!!! We are too good to lose leads like this, we couldn't keep it today, we couldn't keep it against a far inferior West Ham, and we missed so many great opportunities against Wolves. Personally, we haven't played the same since Landon Donovan has left (It's probably not the sole reason, and maybe not even a huge reason, but since he left, we haven't played as well, we had a good game against Man City, and that's about all I can think of when it comes to positives.
  24. Fucking assholes. Do we have any substitutions left?
