I'm not suggesting they never get the chance, just that I wouldn't want a 20 year old lad with little or no experience at the top level playing regularly instead of someone like Distin who has bags of experience. Loans are for players to get experience, they shouldn't jump straight into the first team from the reserves.

I don't mind blooding the youngsters in attacking positions but its always a risk at the back. I would always go with experience at the back rather than youth.

Arteta, by a long way. Looked very good today. Our defence worries me without Fellaini, we struggled against Nolan but a good win nonetheless.

The difference is Adriano could have been getting the Ballon D'or every season if his attitude was better.

Good player from what I've seen. I'd say we should offer a straight swap. Leicester are wealthy so I doubt we could afford to buy him with no swap.

Beckford. The skill involved to calculate the movement of Bramble was superb and his placement for the second was sublime.

If he doesn't start playing, we need to get rid. £20-25m would do this club wonders. If he goes onto be a world beater, thats unlucky but atleast we can say we got good money for him at a financially bad time for the club.

Reading first, they are a good team and will be a danger. I'd prefer City to Villa. Villa are revitalised and City might play their reserve team.

If Moyes thinks he's gonna get a bigger job than us he's seriously deluded. We have a good squad, well worth a Europa League place but once again we're mid-table/ battling relegation. So no, he could take us into the CL if he sorts it out.

If he goes to a United or Real good luck to him and you can't really knock him for it. Real paid £80m for Ronaldo. Fellaini's gotta be worth £100m.

No, but for me we need a clear out. I reckon we should start getting the youngsters in. Mikky, Heitinga, Bily, Yak, Vaughan, Jags (if we get £15m +), Saha, Anichebe. All out the door. We don't need them and they would make us some good money. Bring in the likes of Baxter and Duffy.

I was tempted to turn it off after 15 minutes but persevered. More fool me.

Thought Fellaini was average, though the amount of times he wins the ball is freakish, though his passing let him down. Arteta was ok but largely ineffective 80% of the time. Phil did nothing wrong (and nothing right), Coleman was poor. Bily couldn't have done less. Anichebe just can't hack it at the top, Knight Wheater and Cahill dominated him. Howard didn't do much wrong. Baines was decent, one very good cross. Baxter looked hungry when he came on. Osman didn't really do a lot. Baines it is.

Don't know what to make of him. Sometimes he struggles with simple 5 yard passes then he can go to something spectacular.

Great keeper but should but well down the list on positions we need to fill.
