Coleman by a country mile for me as player of the season. At his best so influential, and as GR posted, ''goal of the season''. Ross for young player. Really impressed with Howard this year though. In fact I didn't know our players had the ability to actually play like they had!

Yay!!! :jump for joy:

Are the Bayern players still drunk from winning the league? Mind you, Utd are playing as if it's their last night of European football for a while..............

We won't get him, and he will turn out to be an awesome player, just like when Gullit was offered to us at aged 17 :shaking fist:

Switzerland ranked 7th best team in the world according to FIFA.

I like friendlies though where we (Wales) get to play Brazil, Mexico etc....... we never qualify for anything so how else are we supposed to play teams outside of Europe!!

Aged 29? Don't want to know thanks, even if we did sign Distin at 31.

I thought it was well funny! I don't care if he took the piss........... so what?

I would like to see Leon Britton play for Wales. He was born in London to English parents but has been living in Wales for the last 10 years. I would be fine with this if he wanted to represent Wales, don't know if FIFA would allow this as he already has a British passport? Or is that nothing to do with it? Qualifying rules in rugby union are 3 years.

I like you just the way you are. About time some Barry white got on here!
It's only now that I've read your post that I understand Matt's post!

Not so long ago Europe was amazed why we were getting 3 of the 4 teams in the champs league semi, like when three different English sides win it in 7 years, like when the European cup never left these shores for 6 years in the late 70's early 80's, like when most clubs around Europe want to follow the Premier league in terms of finance and marketing. Be proud of what we have I say and cherish it. Look at how far Serie A has fallen. I'm not taking anything for granted but I think we are not so technically far behind as people make out. Anyway, do people think it's harder to win the Champions league or the old European cup? :dont know:

I like the lad, he is composed with the ball, good energy, but seems to let the game pass him by sometimes instead of grabbing the game by the scruff of the neck. Sometimes during a game all that's needed is a thunderous challenge or surge forward with the ball to focus the mind and dominate your area. I feel he is just coasting along at the moment? :dont know:

Thanks guys for the heads up. Looks like me being in work saved my telly from going through the window then!

Still can't load the damned thing, pages unresponsive Rubes. Is it on my end maybe? Been trying for an hour. :shaking fist:

Was anyone's game until the penalty. We looked as if we could've pulled out an upset or at least a draw. But, once we had to start chasing the game late on, we had lots of holes. Too many mishaps from McCarthy, Barry and the back 4. The subs we made didn't really make much sense, and we were weaker when they happened. Really a shame that Pienaar came off injured. That kind of fucked us, I think. The score line flatters Arsenal.
Thanks Joe, might try to see some highlights somewhere later.

Was in work today and no radio either, only learned of the result in the van on the way home at 5pm, have not seen any of the goals yet. Read most of the posts here on the game, so in a nut shell were Arsenal worth the win? Did we just throw in the towel or were we smashed good and proper?

I thought it was yogurts pots and a piece of string out there!
:shaking fist: Damn you! We had Electric last year as the gerbil gave up the ghost on the tread wheel!!

Good win last night for Wales. Iceland a decent opposition as well. One of those countries who will be there and there abouts come qualifying and will give anyone a game. Was at the game and I must admit Bale was unbelievable. I think he's improved so much the last 2 years. I would even go as far as to say he is unplayable if he's fit and well. Simple for Wales for the forthcoming campaign, if Bale plays well, we qualify. No one can handle him if he's on form. Add to that the likes of Ramsey and Williams, Allen, Davies, Taylor and Jonathan Williams then there's no reason why we shouldn't qualify.
How was Emyr Huws last night? Thought he played well, one for the future. Nice to see Johny Williams get on as well.

I don't remember that one, but I do remember him snapping Ronaldo in half and loving it!
50-50 ball, both going in hell for leather and Cole going off injured.

I liked Neville, especially at RB, most notably whenever he came up against Bale who was arguably the best LM in the league at the time.
And that tackle on Ashley Cole!!

And all in order to get his book to sell.
Who Romey, Barnes or Campbell?

Barca will keep him next season, they have been given a two transfer window ban.
