Watched him on sky today. He isn't the quickest but likes to get forward and is comfy with the ball. Gauld came on in second half. Now that's a player!!!
Do you think this deal could pave the way for a bid on Gauld in the summer? Two mates playing at the same club down south like?

Personally I don't give a rat's arse about Scotland, I get on with their football and rugby fans really well and have been to Edinburgh, Glasgow and got lost in the highlands a few times for good measure. If they want independence then hurry up and vote quickly because from my personal point of view they dont know how to make the country great, only wallow in self pity. Same as the Welsh assembly, it's only there as ''jobs for the boys'', I never voted in favour of it as I knew exactly what would happen years down the line- failing education system, high unemployment, low health status, and don't get me started on those Plaid Cymru Nazi bastards................................. Feck em, I speak Welsh but they have an attitude of ''your only really welsh if you speak the language''. Your really lucky you don't have this problem Nikika. Scotland will be a third world nation if you vote for independence, stay in the union, stronger together pal. Long live the British Isles.

Super Kev for me, scored a beauty but some crap shots as well. Some wayward passing at times but also lovely skill. What swung it for me was the fact he ran back 60 yards at full speed to retrieve the ball that someone else gave away, that requires grit and determination and guts not to give up.

oh for a 60 goal a season striker today ... how much would he be worth?
Same as Ronaldo probably. (Cristiano, not the fat one).

The man just's seem to be on another footballing planet, so interesting to listen to. His thoughts on all aspects of the game seems to be light years ahead, had to laugh though at the bit where the players trained with the ball during fitness sessions!! Made the team fitness really high, Train the footballer, not the athlete ha ha ha so right!!!!

Almost walking distance mate! I watch stevenage pretty often and they've been crap all season, sure fire relegation fodder. Any season ticket holders wanna buy me a ticket for the away end? (i'd say i'd offer to show you the sights, but trust me.....there are none.)
Spent 3 months up in Basingbourn in 97, played ten pin in Stevenage on a night out there. Never went to the ground though

Just up the road for our fellow member Blueherts maybe? Anyway, can't see this being a problem really.

When Martinez was with Swansea his philosophy was when we have the ball they can't score. I thought he had a good defensive record there, he had a good players for that standard. As you get up the divisions you need to adapt the qualities you have. The more tools you have in your tool box, the more options you have to get the job done. I was shit scared when he came to us because I envisaged us winning/losing 4-3 etc... I will try to do a Hafnia-ism (sorry Haf!) Moyes bought himself a kit car but most of the parts were missing though. He put part after part in with great diligence, always being careful not to over spend on extra parts he needed to buy in. When the time came to race it at the race track, he was cautious, never willing to go toe to toe, always willing to coat tail the leaders as he did not want to crash his car, he just was not willing to risk it, just stay in contention and hope one of the leaders come off. A "works team'' sees how well Moyes handles his car, treating it with respect and never try to crash it. Martinez takes over Moyes old car, looks under the bonnet and says "ooooh'' bet this will go like a rocket if I only just adjust this and twiddle with that, while I'm at it why not change that as well. When Martinez gets on the track he just goes for it, always believing in him self, gliding the car around corners and winning the toe to toe with the top boys, classy driving from someone who used to drive a Talbot Sunbeam, who is now in this purring speedster who will end up driving for the best formula 1 team. There,it's the best I could come up with and I hope Haf will approve!!!!

Having won the game 4-1 and your best player is Distin, then it says it all about today's performance tbh!

That's a very good point ... How much does CL football bring them £40m??? Including gate receipts etc?
So will the arse of the Banks who lent the money to the Glaziers be a twitching with that loss!!

To revisit this and show you some examples of why I feel the way I do, watch this video. Look at these clowns; clearly have zero education and are only against independence because of their bigoted as fuck views. Independence is a serious debate but these clowns only care about the fact that Rangers are traditionally right-wing. Then there's the usual slating of immigrants at the end (nice going given the interviewer clearly is of ethnic background). There's plenty more examples of this type - it should give an indication as to why I am as conflicted as I am. This cunt in the England top is a complete cretin:

"Every cunt in Ireland is living on the streets"
Humiliating.
I love the Rangers supporters living in Ulster! Sure they can be a bit red-neck at times but having lived over there for two years I loved the banter with them on the ferry from Belfast to Stran. Follow follow......................

I feel this deal is for when Naisy us leaves in the summer.

I want to see how he reacts when/if we loose three of four on the bounce, when we are not having the rub of the green and so forth.................... When I see how he reacts to that then maybe I can get as gooey as you lot, not before. Hard heart maybe, but I like to keep things in perspective but he is doing a really top job and I'm bowled over with how the troops have adapted to his style.

Howard for me, covered up some mistakes in front of him. Ross played a blinder and will become a great player with decision making and as for Coleman, wow, really come on this season, best right back in the league? I'd say so on this performance.

he wasn't at fault for the goal, and there was a clean sheet in man u and stoke. he's different from baines so you can't judge him based on that. baines is more defense first, where oviedo attacks more. as long as this is understood and the other players compensate (like barry was), it shouldn't be a problem (which it wasn't). and when he was racing down the line with walcott or jenkinson he acquitted himself well. he's only 24
Yes he was at fault, ball watching so he let Walcott get on the blind side of him, obviously the ball should have been cleared before hand but hey-ho, can't have everything! Excellent link play with Peanut though. Impressed with that.

Robert Earnshaw has scored a hat-trick in the four highest tiers of English football.
Was that for Cardiff and West Brom Louis? Or was there another team involved?

Ouch!!!! Feel sorry for England, could have been a kinder draw. Wish we were there though, even if it was a "group of death".

:shaking fist: Crazy fool!!!!!!

Says a lot that we've only lost one game and that was the game he missed. So happy I've been proven wrong about him.
And me also GR. I felt gobsmacked when he signed, this humble pie is lovely though, mmmmm..................!!
