  1. I really dont know what planet you are on. I thought you made some interesting points on your first post BUT you seem to completely overlook any factual evidence that has been presented about certain failures of the heirachy at Everton Football Club. Thats the view point of both sides that pisses me off most. Bill has done good things and he has done bad things, the same goes with Moyes, ignoring all the bad (or good) that they have done doesnt make your viewpoint correct and loses any source of credibility.

C'mon then. State every fact about the failures of the hierarchy at Everton football club with the evidence that makes it a fact and not speculation. If you are going to talk about things that were apparently going to happen and didn't, then please post the factual reason why they failed?

Oh and i don't care much for you're opinion on me so do keep it to yourself in future.

  2. Interesting announcement on The People's Group facebook page...

"None of us will be able to moderate the site for a few hours. So because of the mindless idiots (Kenwright backers) who ironically try and tell us our group are not fans we are just stopping wall post until late tonight.Hope the true fans understand!"

So those that disagree with them and back Bill are not true fans and, in some cases, are mindless idiots. Balanced.

Maybe they should change their name to The People that agree with us Group?

 What a complete bunch of idiots.

This is why they will never receive any support from me, that and they have absolutely no argument beyond guess work and speculation

Maybe the ironically named 'Peoples Group' should start their own club? They can then run it how they like (into the ground).

  3. The club don't call themselves The People's Club any more.. I don't know all the details but a city centre street trader registered "The People's Club" and from what I understand, there was no threat from the trader towards the club about using the term, the club simply chose not to continue using it. The club re-branded and started using "Nil Satis Nisi Optimum" as a tagline. Apparently, the club had some merchandise with "Nil Satis" which was pulled when it was pointed out that it meant "No satisfaction".

Yeah i read that too. Will it be removed from the back of the Park End Stand anytime soon?

  4. Im sorry but if someone who has been actively trying to sell the club for however many years hasnt disclosed an official price (which lets face it should have dropped a fair amount in the last couple of years) then that man is an idiot. Now I am not saying that Kenwright hasnt given a price to people but lets face it the price of a business is going to be a big determinant of whether your going to buy it. No investor would go through all them checks without knowing the price, as thats where you know your margins and you can then begin to think about the return you will make.

The thing I cant get over was the 'the club hasnt been for sale' comment in the kirkby enquiry, yet Bill has been claiming all these years that he has been actively trying to sell the club. If a special committee tasked to look deeply into the clubs finances and objectives cant tell that the club is for sale then how is a potential buyer?

I dont for one second believe that no-one wants to buy Everton Football Club. But it will all come down to price. We have some very good on the field assets and a team that even without strengthening can challenge the top 4. Yes we need a new ground in some shape or form but a development of the park end would be a considerable start and certainly wouldnt cost billions. The stumbling block is that those who bought into the club for the Kenwright regime want a return on their money (as they should expect in all honesty being business men) and it seems they arent willing to put in some of their own personal wealth to make that happen because there is a big risk that they might not get it back.

Did someone say there were no conspiracy theorists on this forum, no speculators and no guess work?

This special committee tasked to look into the finances of the club. The board handed all this information over to them did they or is it .......................................

  5. I'm in absolute hysterics at those who think credible potential buyers wouldn't be told a price for the club

If someone wants to buy the club, they are very serious about it, they will be asked to provide means and then once that has been done, the price will be revealed as well as all the other details a potential buyer needs to know. This is how business's are usually sold. FFS this is even procedure done when someone inquires about buying an expensive property these days. You have to show proof your not a tyre kicker.

  6. Arsene Wenger pisses me off. He goes on about clubs needing to pay up for his players but then puts shitty bids for other clubs players.

Seems a sensible and financially sound strategy to me. Buy low and sell high, the No.1 principle of business.

Good luck to Wenger for applying some logic and sense to a world of stupid transfer fee's. As long as we reject every offer below £20 million i don't really care what he does.

  7. is suggesting that Bill Kenwright hasn't put Everton up for sale a conspiracy theory?

Is suggesting that Bill Kenwright is asking too much for Everton a conspiracy theory?

Is suggesting Bill Kenwright is lining his own pockets at Everton's expense a conspiracy theory?

Is suggesting that Bill Kenwright has turned down good and solid offers for the club a conspiracy theory?

Is suggesting that the board are being wreckless or incompetent with the funds available to them a conspiracy theory?

Is suggesting the board are telling lies to Everton fans a conspiracy theory?

Is suggesting that David Moyes is also telling lies to Everton fans about the support he gets from Kenwright and the board and that he has an incredibly good relationship with both, a conspiracy theory?

If all the above are not conspiracy theories, then there will be evidence to prove their validity and therefore they will not look like the inane ramblings of a group of people who's sole purpose is to get rid of the Everton chairman and his board at what ever cost.

By the way, did any of you happen to watch the disptaches programme on how to Buy a Football club? I've just returned from holiday and watched it last night. Have to say, if Bill Kenwright is keeping 'investors' like that from getting near Everton, a statue should be made of him and placed outside the ground.

  8. I've still not seen any theories, let alone conspiracy. I am confused, but I am at least amused.

Then I suggest two ways to remedy that.

    1) Open you're eyes

    2) Read

    You shall then be enlightened.

The rubbish and infantile accusations and conspiracy theories about Bill Kenwright and the Everton board keep me amused.

  9. I think that nicely put's some in their place.

This is something quite a few need to pay attention to.

'A Chairman who is at the heart of everything I described above and yet takes no remuneration in any shape or form from the Club'

Investing heavily in youth and development, i think will have to be the future, for a lot of clubs. With transfer fee's and wages the way they are, you simply cannot keep spending £20 odd million per season on transfers and then pay the inflated wages too.

It seems the board are doing what i have always known they are doing, applying basic, logical and sound financial strategy to a club devoid of finds.

  10. Just finished watching The Event, like many shows I get into it's been cancelled ¬_¬

I watched the first series of that and thought it was alright. I haven't heard anything of it since then, didn't even know it had been shown again. How many series did they do?

  11. A bid is only something we can dream of. Everton are the eternal mullers of offers, while every other club actually puts bids i.

You don't make a bid if you have nothing to bid with.

Have to say, this one is the most frustrating in recent years. We desperately need a left winger and this guy is probably not as good as most are saying, but he'd be perfect for us.

Liverpool buying Downing as he can cross the ball onto the Geordie Yobs head. Out of the below, Suarez is the only top class player, the rest are big gambles in my opinion.

    £35 million Carroll

    £9 Million Adam

    £20 million Henderson

    £23 million Suarez

  12. Sorry  .

    It's not simple I'm afraid, it's gibberish.

It's like being a U2 fan and proclaiming the fact that U2 are three times as good as Coldplay (or the reverse).

Or Hemingway's three times as good as Steinbeck, or Westlife are four times as good as Take That

How? By what measure? You can't quantify opinion.

It's the same as the "my dad's bigger than your dad" argument. Infantile meaningless nonsense :rolleyes::lol::lol: .

Can you show me where i stated it was a fact that Essien is 3 times better than Fellaini? I stated that it's my opinion.

I can't believe i have to say this again, but, 'it's my OPINION that Essien is three times the player Fellaini is in pretty much every department'.

The only thing around herethat is gibberish (other than everything hafnia says) is your attempt to try and tell me what i can and can't have as an opinion.

    :D

  13. sorry pax, but unless you are part of the Peoples Group, how do you know what they have, and what evidence they have to back it up or not to back it up, you have no idea what they have, you just don't agree with what they are doing thats all, let them do their media thing and then we can see what happens, if its the same old stuff that has been repeated before, then we know they are clutching at straws, otherwise you are making some serious judgments with no real substance, and only because you think your right, and they are wrong.

lets just wait and see what happens

They have openly stated that all they have is a 'story'. If you have concrete evidence to prove the current board are in the wrong or how miss-led supporters, do you honestly think it would be called a 'story' and do you honestly think they'd be sitting on it?

I'm making judgements on what they are saying themselves. Read that thing you posted from their Facebook again. Does it read 'We have serious evidence to prove that the allegations made against Bill Kenwright and the board have substance and can be proven'. No, it's says, we are trying to join forces with the media as their might be some sort of story.

  14. You're right, its my opinion so...Im not wrong. I can't be wrong. Because if i were to beleive that everything i made an opinion about was wrong, whats the point in ever forming an opinion. In your eyes i am but im not wrong in my opinion. So you really really can't say i'm wrong?

Like Marco said, originally it was nice to get someone on board that wasn't a bill basher but now you seem to be going down the avenue of isolating yourself by picking on those who were originally in your camp. It seems like its Pro-Bill, Anti-Bill and Pax.

    *enters sarcasm font*

So i hope you enjoy your little 'Im fucking right' corner, because at this rate, you're making tons of friends

Yes, my opinion is that you are wrong, very very wrong. Now you are saying i can't have an opinion on this?

I'm not here to make friends, i couldn't give two shits what you are anyone else thinks of me. I am here to give my opinion and debate. That's exactly what i will do and yes, i am enjoying my 'corner', thanks for asking though.

  15. How do you work out if a player is "three times (or two times or four times)" better than another?

Expressing something as indefinable as talent as a mathematical ratio seems a bit daft to me  .

..because i think he is three times better than Fellaini in pretty much department  Quite simple as far as i am concerned.
