  1.

Were we playing good football over the last 2 seasons?

I thought we were the best footballing side in the league in patches. How is it that he has no inginuity?

Look lads. When we were faced with the question regarding wanting to sell players to save the club from the banks, everybody put their brave face on, and agreed. Now that we have sold players, and the seasons events haven't gone quite as well as we would have hoped, it's now 'off with Moyes head'.

Isn't it all a bit knee jerky?

I didnt say I wanted him sacked. I said I would like to see a plan B.

  2.

The problem is £50m will only buy a share in a world class player these days. How much did City's side cost?

I'll tell you. Their 25 selection cost £816 million. That's an average of £32m per player if my maths is correct (it often isn't).

My point is the money is irrelevant. He only seems to know 1 way to play. No ingenuity, no risk taking. I have just come to expect a bit more from him and thus far this season he has been nothing short of shit. Im not saying he should be sacked but I think he needs to look at how he approaches things

  3. We just seem bereft of any real leadership at present. Nobody who drives us forward and picks us up, this is a criticism of the players as much as the manager

Moyes seems to have reverted to hope something turns up tactics - insofar as we dont make changes to the way we play regardless of opposition or match situations. Money would be nice but if Moyes was handed £50million in the transfer window do you reckon we would be playing attacking football with 2 up top by February?

I'm just unsure at the moment and it could be the whole atmosphere surrounding the club being very negative. A few wins could turn it round but I am very worried about the future

  4. A lack of money prevents us buying players. It doesnt prevent us from playing football, adapting the way we play dependent upon the game situation. I've lost all faith in Moyes, no invention, no ideas, no plan b, no clue.

I would rather we went down fighting 4-1 yesterday, chasing the game not looking like we are holding out for 2-1.

The start of the season I was hopeful of us maintaining our usual league status of 7-5th and was quite content with the way the club was (or at least accepted the status quo) in the name of stability and "in moyes we trust". Sadly not anymore

  5. I'm sick of the sight of the remnants of the so called golden generation - a bunch of flat track bullies who just do not get on the way that a winning squad would.

Lampard, Terry and Rio should be cleared off. Gerrard in the squad to bring along the likes of Wilshire.

Bring in some elder statesmen into the bootroom such as Shearer and Beckham who could squash any ego's the second they raise their head. Make Joe Hart the captain to remove this farcical england captain ego trip. You play for your country you are as good as a captain.

The England side has been shit for a long time, they just arent as good as they think they are

  6. I have no idea if any of this story is actually true, however I have come across Indian deals before in my line of work, and they can sometimes take years because of minor details. So just because it is taking a while is no reason to think nothing is happening.

    for example:

The Indians wanted an aeroplane and they were sold one by BAe. This aeroplane was everything that the Indians wanted. But time and tide wait for no man and developement continued. The latest and best versions of this aircraft are flown by the RAF and the Australian RAAF. The Indians have just recently started to take theirs. but they are unhappy with it. It is not as good as the RAF version. The reason being it took them so long to finalise the 'buying' paperwork they let the developement carry on without updating their order. They are getting what they ordered, it just so happens that the aeroplane they ordered is now out of date.

So it may take time for them to get sorted out in buying and/ or investing in a club like Everton. And as I mentioned above I have no idea if they are actually doing this.

So by the time they have bought us we will be in the market for a 40 year old Lionel Messi? biggrin.png
