  1. Yeah. Shit is starting to hit the fan. I'm hoping Sanders pulls a miracle, but I don't think he'll have enough sway in Congress. HRC may have cost herself the election by not releasing the Wall Street speech transcripts. Either way, I definitely do NOT want Trump's ignorance in office.
  2. Sounds like your girls are gluttons for disappointment! Hopefully next season gives them a better experience.
  3. Stop. You're doing my head in! I feel bad for season ticket holders.
  4. I will say again that I think Jags is a solid centerback that works harder than most on the team. However, I don't think he inspires those around him. That's just my opinion. He's probably the most suited at the club to be captain but that's not necessarily the best reason to be one when looking at the larger picture. In no way am I saying that Jags shouldn't be in the squad though, just to be clear. Is the horse dead yet?
  5. Davies and Connolly are having better touches than our regular first teamers. Davies looks slick!
  6. Everton unable to hold onto a lead? Shock, horror!
  7. What's most annoying is I'm not trying to get hung up on yellow cards. My point is that there isn't a leader in the team, yellow cards or not.
  8. Did you even read the part where I said I don't get the yellow card argument either? Apparently not. My point was that Everton is lacking passion, so why you'd pick out two Everton players is beyond me. Obviously there's an element of stupidity to a yellow card, but to say that being passionate doesn't often result in a yellow card is wrong. See Dzeko sticking up for Besic for example.
  9. Mirallas looks energetic -- nows a chance for him to make a huge statement.
  10. I feel like Ossie doesn't even play for us anymore. It's weird seeing his name in the starting lineup.
  11. Good job picking out a couple of instances that fit your stance.
  12. I wouldn't say he's had a shit season, but obviously -- as a whole -- the squad has. That means every players' quality will be inevitably be questioned. I like Jags, but I don't like that he's our best defender, because his standard isn't as high as was anymore. ...But I don't get the argument abut the yellow cards either, even though their probably is a correlation somewhat between receiving a yellow card and being passionate.
  13. Some big moves here -- glad to see it honestly.
  14. I'll have to pick up Rainbow Six!
  15. Wait.. goal? You mean touchdown, right? Who looks silly now? [emoji4]
  16. Rather have Jags than Terry any day based off of principles alone. But that point is moot. I wish we had a Cahill personality in the group -- a player who oozes passion for the club. You'd think we see that from Ross but nope. Lately, everyone on the pitch for Everton has been running with their shoulders shrugged.
  17. Jags is solid (less so now) in the backline, but he's not a leader. He's too nice and doesn't inspire the team, at least that's how it seems on the outside looking in. We're really missing that passionate player who is willing to fight tooth-and-nail for the club. What member in the squad fits that bill?
  18. Not looking forward to this one at all. Liverpool is hitting form, and their confidence will be through the roof after their comeback on BVB. That said, a good performance here could really get the team kicking on for the end of the season -- still a few positions to fight for.
  19. I think we should be shooting higher now.
