Myquestion is: if you could replace one player in the squad( who is generally in the starting 11), who would it be? I'm going with Distin. I still think he has something to offer, but given his age and lackluster form, I think it's time we replace him in January. Jags will be a reliable backup for Stones before the end of the season is over.

This. I've never yelled at so many different players in the same game. After every goal we concede I think to myself "of course that was going to happen." It's appalling.

I was thinking this after the Chelsea match. I thought after last season that the defensive record Martinez had at Wigan was negligible because of their injury record and quality at the time as well. But our CB pairing needs to be sorted, so until there's a change there and no progress thereafter, I'll still keep my faith.

About the second goal: Howard shouldn't have come out, but Campbell shouldn't have been that open. If Howard doesn't come out, Campbell still has a free header on the ball. The defense was asleep, just like they were that whole game. Why is no one covering Campbell's run? The third goal was a disgrace to the entire defense. It's shocking how much space and time Bolasie had before receiving the pass. Two of the goals could be considered Howard's fault, but the defense let them get too many easy chances, including the space on the penalty. Obviously, there are better keepers out there, but mention one we could get for our budget and where that money couldn't be better spent somewhere else in the team.

I've been playing about 15 years. I'm huge fan of prog rock/jazz fusion. Nice to see another who likes jazz. I really like the slow-paced/smooth and technical side of jazz. Have any suggestions?

Have to agree. I'd like to think if Martinez asks the wide men to drop back and they don't, then he would drop them for the next match. ...this is going to be a good season for Mirallas.

I think both are a step down from the badge of two years ago. This season's badge is better than last season's, but only by a small margin. I'm not really a fan of the badge shape -- a more modern outline would be great. I'm expecting this one to stick for awhile.

Agreed. It wasn't malicious or anything like that. I thought he played well in the short time he had. He looks like he'll be smooth in tight situations where there is little space to move. I hope we see more of him in the Europa match coming up.
