  1. Whoa... This is not a way I thought he'd go. He always seemed so happy and tried to make others laugh.
  2. Incredible! Medical technology never ceases to amaze me.
  3. Welcome! Are there more Americans than the rest now?!
  4. Here we go. Loved this last season. Leicester 0-1 Everton LUKAKU
  5. Hear, hear! He may not be a big deal to most Everton followers, but you can't underestimate the impact he has had on us American followers.
  6. Hopefully having Mirallas and Lukaku in the squad will provide that extra spark.
  7. Just to clarify, I mean in pre-season. we obviously haven't seen enough of Browning to determine whether he's ready or not, but my guess is a no. I would prefer Stones there though.
  8. I'd much rather take my chances with that than have Hibbert playing. I'm just surprised not to see Stones or Browning given a go here.
  9. Likewise. I appreciate what Hibbert has brought to the club, but I really hope he doesn't start our first match of the season.
  10. I've been drinking a little, so I'd like to take this time to say how much I love this club. COYB. #drunkfeelingsaretruefeelings
  11. Hahaha. I actually laughed out loud at that.
  12. To be fair, I don't think their are too many who could disagree!
  13. This is an atrocity. UEFA is a terrible example of a "governing" body.
  14. This is an atrocity. FIFA is a terrible example of a "governing" body.
  15. Same with me. Played competitively in high school and then played intramurals every year in college. I still go out to the local fields, and it's usually easy to find a pickup game. I usually played attack CM or winger. I miss playing on a real team!
  16. I just started watching 'The Killing' on Netflix. I'm only 6 episodes in, and so far it's decent.
  17. Looks like this one is all but done. I'm happy with it, and I'm hoping that it's a loan-to-buy option.
  18. For 1.5 or 3mil or even 5mil, he's a goer. Like StevO said above, he's in the same level as Barkley, Mirallas, and McGeady when it comes to not showing up sometimes; but on his day he is a beast!
  19. Yeah, it's interesting to note that Klinsmann was coach of Munich during his time there, and they always had this behind-the-scenes hatred for each other, or at least that's what it seems like.
  20. I have to agree with Romey regarding the squad having the same amount of depth as last year; however, the squad is deeper compared to three seasons ago. I still think we need another winger(left-footed) and a younger CB to cover Distin with the intentions of eventually taking over for him. Obviously, another striker is preferable to challenge Lukaku, but I feel that way because of the question marks hanging over Kone's head. I also wouldn't mind acquiring another central attacking playmaker to challenge Barkley. I feel Pienaar could do a job there, but I have a feeling he's not going to get that opportunity very often.
  21. He considers himself an Evertonian. It's even in his twitter bio. The man loved this club. As for calling it soccer, that's a term the English came up with, so the root of that "problem" started with you lot.
