Sibdane reacted to JoeQuince in Heitinga
For me, Johnny always seems a bit of a liability on set pieces. He tends to track poorly and lose aerials. Sure, he's made some excellent late tackles and clearances, but I can't help feeling that he puts himself/the team in those dangerous positions sometimes. But this is just my opinion, man.
He is, by far, the best cb we have on the ball though.

Sibdane got a reaction from Matt in Clint Dempsey
Depends on how much Fulham want for him so that he can leave. Might be asking something ridiculous to keep him until the end of the contract. Dempsey has always been loyal to any team he plays on. This is the only time I can remember him sulking at a leave. He kept his patience when MLS almost refused to let him go to Europe.
He's 29 and wants to test himself at a higher level. I don't blame him. But I'm biased.

Sibdane reacted to tolne in Ross Barkley
Can I just say that I am overly ecstatic to see Barkley's breakthrough season!!??
But then again I was the same way last season and was majorly disappointed when he got dropped to the reserves.

Sibdane reacted to Iamryanstover in Kevin Mirallas
I think the market we are in is getting the best player for the best price. Do I think Mirallas is a perfect player? No, but when you consider the going rates for unestablished young players I think its a great buy. Not to mention if this goes through we would have beaten a top 4 club for a 1st team player.

Sibdane got a reaction from patto in Jack Rodwell
I still have faith in Roddy unlike I do with Chebes. Just have a feeling that Rodwell is going to be a world-beater.
I would love to have Johnson but not at the sake of losing Rodwell.

Yes indeed! The problem was that the British were increasing taxes without the consent of the individual colonies, hence, "No taxation without representation." There were other issues of course, with taxation being one of the more heated ones.
Basically, the colonies were doing all the work and the British were taking all the money/resources.
From the experience I have, most Americans actually don't support the current wars overseas. However, we (the government) want the resources from those countries -- so you're right regarding the irony of the situation, and I would say most - if not all - government programs are funded by taxes.
