Just re-reading the arguments for Sturridge being "shit", is Lukaku "shit" because he can't get into the Chelsea team?
Sturridge reminds me of a race horse / stallion / call it what you will. He plays with grace and confidence, and I hate to say it but Liverpool have the best striking partnership in the Prem.

I have to honour Mr Howard today.
He prevented the game going against us, and played a good game throughout.

That's a bit harsh don't you think. There were long stretches of time (beginning of the 1st and 2nd half where villa) were playing better and dominant. Not saying we don't deserve this win but just saying another day, villa could've had a couple of goals at this point as well.
The first half was a good contest, but Villa certainly didn't do enough for a home side to win the game.

Hate to say it but feel a bit bad for Villa. Numerous times I've seen games where Everton played better than the opposing team for long stretches but weren't able to get a goal.
They had a soft penalty, and we've been the better side.

From 2015/16 season onwards, the League Cup and FA Cup runner-up will no longer qualify for Europe when the cup winner otherwise qualifies, instead the European places will be based on league positions.
I think the cups should stay as they are, otherwise what chance does a lower league side have of Europe. We might benefit, but for the good of football, I think it shouldn't be to the detriment of other clubs.

Liverpool is not very a big city, it's possibly not worth hiring a car.
On 31 October, it is Halloween so there may be some themed-parties in the city centre. Cirque du Soleil are also performing in the city centre. On 1 November, there is a Lantern walk in Sefton Park (free to watch). It's kind of a mini parade.
There are lots of free museums in the city centre, and an art gallery.
