  1. These are funny;

    Brendan Rodgers' Greatest Hits

    * "When we have the football, everybody's a player."

    * "It was a perfect away performance, apart from the first 10 minutes."

    * "I've always said that you can live without water for many days, but you can't live for a second without hope."

    * "My biggest mentor is myself because I've had to study, so that's been my biggest influence."

    * "I started coaching for one reason and that was to make a difference for people, not just as footballers but as human beings."

    * "You train dogs, I like to educate players."

    * "When you've got the ball 65-70% of the time, it's a football death for the other team. We're not at that stage yet, but that's what we will get to. It's death by football. You just suck the life out of them."

    * "I always say a squad is like a good meal - I'm not a great cook but a good meal takes a wee bit of time, but also to offer a good meal you need good ingredients."

    * ""All I'll ever do is all I've ever done in any job, and that's promise to fight for my life for the people of the city."

    * "I've always worked along the statistic, that if you can dominate the game with the ball you have a 79% chance of winning a game of football."

    * "We play with 11 men, other teams play with 10 men and a goalkeeper."

Lol, Jay. Added those to my forum. The guy says some crazy things.

  2. We are conceding too many and have only faced 2 of the big teams, one of which seemed to think it was more fun to miss, after 22 shots than score, so I'll put that one down to it being our day. We must stop conceding if we are to challenge this season, and I feel Martinez needs to get stronger regarding mistake makers and underperformers.

His starting eleven this season has been undeserved in my eyes and a few lads need to buck up.

  3. Firstly, Robles was brought in as a no2 keeper, and that's his job until Howard gets dropped etc, so we won't see much of him.

Deulofeu is a kid that has been sent to us to help him develop. Let's not expect too much from this. The fact he has been played is mainly an opportunity for us to see him, and him to get experience. I think he's done ok so far.

Kone has looked ok to me, and we've seen nothing of him to judge yet. Had his shots gone in we'd have been praising him, but that's the fine line.

Alcaraz is a waste of wages at the moment and needs to get fit. Poor signing.

Barry is helping out, but not as great as some fans seem to be getting excited about. I would call his performances good enough to keep his place, but certainly not exceptional.

McCarthy: Too little to judge. Yesterday he played well among many players who didn't, but fingers crossed he will prove to be a great signing.

Lukaku: Good striker and passer, but looks several weeks behind in terms of stamina and I think we should cut his minutes down for now.

I don't know about you lads, but I cringe everytime I hear Jagielka being interviewed.

Every answer starts with "Yes Definitely" and for me it shows a huge lack of intelligence, not to mention the fact that he is representing Everton when on camera.

    Total media ban please Roberto.

Which other players have similar habits?

See how many you can name.

  5. He's had a handful of games to see what's what. It's not him out on the pitch.

He was a bit smug towards the end of his time here, and again in his approach for our players, but I'm sure that smugness will have been brought back down to earth now that the honeymoon period has been spoiled by bad weather.

I still think he'll be fine though. Southampton are a team in good form and high confidence, and United still wasted lots of chances, and hit the woodwork, so sometimes things don't go your way. It shows how little United fans understand about their own team, or football in general, by their reaction.

    Fuck em
