  1. It's not important where we've been, it's where we're going. Let the kopites hang on to the past, I want to go forward.
  2. Cheers guys, appreciate the help, think I will go for upper bullets!
  3. The one that got away. Absolutely incredible player, wears his heart on his sleeve and loved Everton as much as we loved him.
  4. Evening lads, just a quick question for anyone who can help me. I am a regular Goodison Park goer - however due to working down south I only manage to get to around 11 or 12 home games a season and the odd away game here and there. I now, however, plan on a change of career and am likely to be relocated back home again, in the glorious north! Whenever I visit Goodison Park I have always sat in Gwlady's street, at first I sat there because I had heard of the good atmosphere, which didn't let me down. I have since sat there religiously, aside from once or twice, where I have sat in the Park End, which doesn't come close to Gwladys Street End in terms of atmosphere! This recent change of circumstances means I am now able to purchase a season ticket (finally!) and I was looking for a little bit of advice. I'm looking at hopefully getting one located in the centre of the pitch due to the better view of the whole match rather than one half, realistically either in the Paddock, Upper Bullens, Lower Bullens or the Main Stand. I was just curious about several things, such as: Will many season tickets be readily available in these stands when they go on sale to non-renewers? If so, will there only be seats available with horrible restricted views? What is the atmosphere like in these stands? Which of these stands would you consider to be "better"? I'm not overly concerned about the price of the season ticket, so money doesn't really effect the choice I make (unless someone suggests a private box, then I'll have trouble funding that one!) any help would be appreciated guys, thanks!
  5. Thank God for that. Wish him all the best but he is truly awful.
  6. Just out of interest how does that compare with Bentekes?
  7. Where are you getting his average pass length from haf? Not been in tune with the Lukaku thread I tend not to get too involved with it.
  8. I see a striker that has the 3rd lowest pass percentage in the league. Because he is isolated.
  9. I thought you was just about to say "just like us" not "which we dont"!
  10. If Schneiderlin signs by Thursday or Friday could he feature? When is the cut off point? I doubt he would start if he can. I doubt he would even get his debut, probably lacking severely in match fitness.
  11. Yeah we will keep trying until the last 5 minutes of deadline day, turn to this bloke and he'll piss off to spurs or arsenal instead.
  12. The thing is though Steve mate is you look at it from the optimistic point of view. The truth is, is we fail to ever have any urgency or purpose in the transfer window. Almost every single transfer is grinded out. Look at this one. Why on earth couldn't we provisionaly sign him a week before the window opens and announce it on the open? Even mourninho said in an interview when the window opened "two weeks ago a move was 100% in place, now it's like 0%". What's that about? I'm telling you mate there is absolutely nothing simple when it comes to our transfers.
  13. Even though the main reason we struggle at the back is because we have an ageing slow defence that can't push up high. Would be furious if we signed another old slow defender. Not slating him he's a quality player, just not the player for us. And just whilst I'm on the topic Jim White is a wanker. At least be a wanker and be liked, such as Durham!
  14. Just off the top of my head from the summer, Sissoko, Gabbiadini, Perez. That's 3 in one window, and I'm sure there were more. Just because they signed somewhere else doesn't mean we didn't balls up. Deals should have been attempted much sooner, rather than letting other teams swoop in.
  15. Not at all. I'm not suse what it is, we just seem to balls it up all the time. Money I suppose is the least of our worries.
  16. The way January went I'd be happy with just lookman and Morgan. Doubt we are in foe many, and I doubt even more than we have the capability to sign them.
  17. Who else are we going to put on when we're 2-1 down to the champions of England?
  18. Not got the personality. Probably never been away from home longer than a couple of weeks.
  19. Blackpool lad and can confirm that it is in fact a barm! Short for "Barmcake"!
