  1. Not starting tonight for Senegal. Strange decision, but im happy with it! Cost them too, losing 1-0 early first half.
  2. Fully expect a player to be set in stone to come in and replace him this window. Be very annoyed if there isn't. Lennon, Mirallas and Lookman is nowhere near enough depth. Plus Lookman is probably a more central player, as is Mirallas.
  3. He's looked good, not great, but good. Definitely an improvement. Well done Ross.
  4. I'm not saying Koeman can't do right. I'm saying that believing injuries and ACON hasn't shaped the winning team we have at the minute is pure stupidity.
  5. They are shoved in your face every two minutes on talksport to be fair. Even outside of ad breaks. But 5live seems to be the Ken Barlow of radio stations; boring as hell!
  6. An average "attacking midfielder", who when playing well does almost everything you'd expect a premier league attacking mid to do. Plenty of better AMCs, plenty worse. As soon as people stop rating his potential so highly the better. Not going to be the world beater many think he is. Look at him as an average member of the squad, not a scapegoat or a savior.
  7. He tactically played 5 at the back though., which negates 4 at the back. Macca was injured and Davies played against Southampton before Schneiderlin signed, and kept his place over a player who wasn't match fit, because he was in form. Not to mention he has to drop Jagielka who has been one of our worst players this season, who came back from being dropped and was still awful. Many options? What options? Why would he play 1 defensive midfielder? Your theory of playing Barry as a lone sitter almost wants to make me disregard everything you've said so far! Utter lunacy! The question still stands. How has Koeman shaped the team; if it's not for injuries?
  8. How exactly has Koeman shaped the team? He's been forced to play Robles, Holgate and Davies through injuries/ACON. If even Macca was fit he would have played ahead of Davies who has been one of our main men. What else could Koeman have done? He hasn't shaped the team with the signings he has made this window. They have been a minimalistic contribution to our wins. He's been forced to make changes and has done accordingly. We've done really well. But it's no coincidence that were playing much better with forced changes.
  9. Things are always said unnecessary. It's what makes us the frustrating, beautiful fans we are! 6 months too early for me, the way he was playing. I'll bide my time for now, recent performances have been tactically sound and undertaken well by the players. We look more like a team, and less direct which is nice.
  10. Stoke 0 - 2 Everton Barkley -getting it in early before Steve shouts at me
  11. I went to post my prediction at exactly 1501 hrs! Darn it. I was going to post 1-0 Coleman, if that still counts....
  12. Berahino scoring depends on if the commentator gives some crazy stat about him not scoring in umpteen hours of football. Failing that, you are soley to blame for his goal matt.
  13. I'm afraid I do worry about people on here! The old school yard "I told you so" isn't it? Everyone doubted Ronnie late last year, including me, and I said if our performances don't improve I want him to go. Not in December, not January. He needed a season to be judged. People wanted him to be given the minimum amount of time as possible because we gave clown shoes the longest amount of time possible. Fans are understandably frustrated about watching an under performing manager at our club and probably just want to speed along the process of replacing one, and they hold every right to do that. I'm not doubting RK. I'm merely saying that late last year the fans were sick of the lack of improvement in the side. Call me pedantic, but the 11th highest paid manager in the world shouldn't have been playing hoof ball relegation fodder tactics like Koeman was late last year.
  14. Not been given a consistent run in the side.
  15. He didnt write that. And injuries/ACON have certainly shaped the team that are winning right now.
  16. What a toffeetalk mentality. how petty.
  17. 5 of his last 6 league starts he's kept a clean sheet. Conceded 2 against hull (90 minutes played) and came on against the shite, other than that he conceded in the FA cup.
  18. Need to take these chances soon before they mean nothing. Ross has been superb today.
  19. Love his attitude. Loved him running the pitch after Lookmans goal. His ability is questionable, but I'd be more than happy as a fan to see him play the rest of the season. If he keeps getting clean sheets and performing like he has been, I would want him to take the number 1 spot.
  20. Stupid decision to let him go. Bags of potential and so young.
