  1. Barry. Class above the rest today, showed everyone why he was being raved about at the start of the season! Some people including myself and be so fickle at times
  2. Occasionally he hasaid a stinker bit there is a reason he will the the most capped player in EPL history! Be interesting to see if Koeman wants to keep him this summer to provide back up.
  3. Lots of people doubting Barry but he's been the best player on the pitch in my opinion
  4. Yet another example of bullying, when we he be disqualified?!?! ?
  5. Oh. Well. I've been ill lately and must not be seeing straight! Honest mistake. Honestly. If you ask me, Mike should be deducted for persistently bullying me. Or even disqualified. Edit: and Cornish Steve, too.
  6. Anyone around goodison! I prefer the Barlow Arms, about a 10 minute walk from the ground but I'm sure others will think there is better around. If I'm closer I go to the spellow but that's tradition it's not a great pub!
  7. Uhm. I predicted spurs 3-2 everton, Lukaku firat goal scorer? Please?
  8. Hopefully if there is a buy out clause it will be one triggered after year 2 or 3 of his contract.
  9. Dipping in form, can see a draw against a team who love to play for one.
  10. I completely agree with you but at the same time can't disregard how easier getting in the CL would be next season without the extra micky mouse europa league matches.
  11. https://www.joe.ie/sport/seamus-coleman-significant-donation-2-year-old-battling-cancer-donegal-580489 Fantastic man, captain material. Leads by example on and off the pitch. Seems to have time for his fans and charity whenever possible.
  12. As in the game of chess, I set myself up for that one. As for Robles, if you think he was our second best player today I have no time to argue with that dillusion. Absolutely mental.
  13. I don't care if he was awful Coleman was the only one trying to go forward consistently this game. Everyone else turned and passed it backwards to the centre half's. Poor conviction, but the right mentality. Seamus.
  14. He should have saved the first albeit Gana had a part to play. As for the second that is embarrassing goalkeeping and all the convincing he has done over these past the months has disappeared. Call me fickle but I said as long as he keeps up his form he should be our number 1, those two goals were embarrassing, especially the second what on earth is he thinking?
  15. Yep this is going to be a spanking this second half. Could be 3 or 4.
  16. As for that battle in midfield Paul with regards to Gueye & Schneiderlin vs Dier & Wanyama there is only one winner! Those two will be the most dangerous defensive midfield pairing in the league next season!
  17. I don't know how to feel today. We will want to take advantage of the points we could gain on 6th and 5th, but West Bromwich lost, so no pressure there. We're going up against a very good, confident spurs team. I want to be optimistic, but I don't think we have the mind set to beat Spurs today. The players are great and can beat anyone on their day, but they need to believe that. I think we will set up 5-3-2, look to contain Spurs and Lukaku and Mirallas will hit them on the break. Could work, and I believe Spurs aren't the hardest team to contain. I doubt they will show us a lack of respect by leaving their defence too exposed to a counter too often. It'll be about taking our chances and defending how we all know we can. Kane and Eriksen are the talismen. Take them out of the game and we will stand a chance. Their full backs should push up the pitch and leave plenty of space in behind for Rom to chase. Hopefully Dier plays because I think he's aweful. We need Rom to be up for this today and be aggressively chasing those long balls in behind. I'd take a point right now, as much as it pains me to say it. Edit: and Robles is going to have a great game I can feel it
  18. I think sometimes he is scared to take risks because the crowd gets in his back too easily. I think he does lose the ball a lot, though, but so should any "number 10", their job is to play killer balls which are the hardest type of ball to play with the lowest success rate. I don't get annoyed when he loses the ball in those positions. You wouldn't slam a goalkeeper for not kicking the ball directly to a target man's head every single time from a goal kick.
  19. Pipe dream, it's not going to happen anyway so no use on getting your hopes up.
