My point is Pad that we are a club with integrity and look after our loyal players, we don't just discard them when we deem them no use. I personally hope we stay that way and don't modernise. We have a lot of respect due to how we treat players and this is why young players opt for us a lot of times. Don't emphasise on one comment but rather the whole context. Others may feel different bit I feel that's what makes us Everton.....we are sentimental!

But I'd course the TV money has made a big difference, look at Sterling.

7m for gim is fair..am I missing something? He's a decent player, not great but good. Ate you guys living in the noughties still? 7m isn't that much these days. And he's still young. I wouldn't mind him coming to honest. Decent player with age on his side.

I actually thought Ross looked much better. He was always looking for the ball and when he received it he moved it on very quickly. Yes he still made a few wrong decisions..but again so did all our young uns. Ross has the ability to move the ball very fast, people see goals and marauding runs and think that is Ross Barkley. But one of his best attributes is that quick ball forward or a flick round the corner. That's what you need in today's game.. Speed. I didn't see him against Swindon but thought he did well against Stoke.

I think a few of them have been brought along for the squad experience and not necessarily to play.

But ye the young lads at the back looked very tidy.

I actually felt sorry for Pienaar, thought he played OK...just got battered. And lets be honest most of thos would have been yellow in the premier. Also a lovely ball through to Lukaku for his disallowed goal.

Browning has been looking good. Looks a solid young lad. Gerry with a clown moment haha. Runs onto ball..it hits his heel..then goes to pass it after a rollover and fluffs it. We're gonna have some giggles this year along with moments of magic.
