I can actually see Mcs point. Sometimes people look at how much we have spent as a sign of intent and not the actual worth of the player. There have been a myriad of posts that stats with....we have only spent blah blah blah. I think MC is just pointing out that if we had spent 15m on him people would be looking at it a bit differently.

Although people aren't excited about the coming season.....there is a lot of activity on this site. Whether people are optimistic or pessimistic, they are still having their say on every subject. I can't help it, my phone battery gets raped every day because of this forum. I am just bouncing inside in anticipation of Saturday.....life is just bit the sake without football. Should we have Martinez tapping players up or speaking to the media about which players he is chasing? If come deadline day we don't bring in another two players then I'll worry.

I have to admit I was impressed by Browning yesterday. Not just his ability but his leadership and confidence. He looked like he believed he was better than his opposition.
