True enough. I think after the let downs o er the years I am so critical of players now. Like I said, still be excited about it, just think he needs a lot if work. Not just with the ball and on the pitch.

It's not a no brainer for me though. If it became a choice between him and someone like Yarmalenko...I would go with Y. Don't get we wrong I would still be excited by the signing..as mentioned previously...I just don't remember him being here and tearing up defences. I remember him having a few moments of brilliance... Emirates for example...and the rest of him being more frustrating than Mirralas. Take a look back through the match day forums and it might remind you of his time here.

What we need is a playmaker. What we don't need is yet another ego who plays when he feels like it. I do understand the potential...I just don't think we're in a position at the moment to work on potential...I believe we need players to come in and play now.

Come on other than a few moments of brilliance, he didn't really do much here did he. Another with potential.

Frustrating thing about McGeady is that we know he can beat a player....why doesn't he? I watch him and think to myself you know you can if you could just be arsed....then he'll sprint back and help out the defense. Put that effort in their last third and you could actually make a difference. I would give him till January to show something...then move on. We can't keep waiting for these players to fulfil promise...at that age, if your not doing it then it's your own fault.

Isn't this an Everton Forum? Why should he comment on the rest of the world...stick to our players. Rom was awful. Kev wasn't deemed good enough to even get five minutes. McGeady against England was OK, had a few moments but boring special.

Watched the match and their opponents were very poor. Stones couldn't really do much as they hardly attacked, did wait for a header and gave them an opportunity though. Blame that more on falling asleep due to opposition though. Like played a 7, nothing special but did put in a few decent balls. One of them an excellent delivery across the face of the box that someone should have got on the end off. Didn't see the last 15 mins...match was boring so I went to bed haha. Did it end 0_0?
