Yep. This game underlined that all we need is a 20 goal a year striker. Everything else was pretty nifty, but we lacked in and around the box, kind of ran out of ideas. In all honesty, we should have had it won by half time. Only the players on the pitch are responsible for that. With the free kick that lead to their goal. Its seems to be accepted in football that freekicks can be taken further back, you see this all the time, maybe with the assumption that its a 'disadvantage' to do so??? In this instance, I cant see past how jags n distin were completely turned off. Whatever your view, it was a good bit of quick thinking that well and truly got us in the bollocks. Its a shame we got nothing out of this game points wise but there are several positives that I hope we can carry into the Palace game. Im looking forward to March when I hope that the likes of Barkley, Gerry, McGeady, Lukaku and Traore are all much more match fit and sharp. So long as all goes to plan, we should push hard for those euro places....and the fa cup of course!!!

Possibly. The 3 to go off were bang on. They had faded out of the game. I thought we would see Traore too, especially chasing the game at the end. But he maybe just isnt ready and/or RM thought the 3 who did come on were the best options. Its quite impressive being able to bring them guys on, but all 3 looked a bit short of match sharpness. So collectively we can analyse it and call out the ref, RM, whatever whoever....but in reality it should have been game over by half time.

Nah. Ive tried, but cant agree. We were just shite. Very shite. Put that back four 20yards deeper...those forwards would still have pressed and harassed, forcing mistake after mistake.
